I heard my alarm tone chiming from my phone, but I was already awake catching a COD game with some of my online gaming friends. So I bade them goodbye as I had to get ready for school, it was a Friday and i told them we'd link up for more plays over the weekend.

"Morning Mom" I said as I walked into the kitchen.
My sisters were already at the table eating their breakfasts.

I'm "Oh Hello there, Dashing Prince in uniform"  she complimented seeing me in my new school uniform.

"Oh stop it mom" I blushed as I picked a slice of toast.

"You look like a toad" Halsey snorted

"Hello monster" I smirked at her
"Hello Angel!" I turned towards Hailey pulling out the sit beside her.

my phone screen lit up notifying me of a new message and it read

"I'M OUTSIDE"

"Our ride's here, let's go!" I called out to my sisters.

"Here is your lunch guys" my mom said, handing each of us a pack.

"Moooom! We already told you the school gives us food" Hailey said "you didn't have to"

"Well I already did" she shrugged "so just take it and run along now, we don't want to keep Lara waiting"

"You outdo yourself Mrs Solomon" I sighed and kissed her goodbye.

"All aboard and ready to go?" Lara blurted out as got in the passenger seat of her yellow Kia Rio.

"Aye! Aye!! Captain" the girls echoed from behind.

"Mike?" Lara called waiting for my response

"Aye Cappy" I replied and her big warm eyes and sweet smile were waiting for me as I turned to look at her, forcing a smile of my own then looked out the side of my window.

"OMG Are you gonna drive now Lara, or are you gonna keep staring at my brother like a bag of spicy Doritos?" Halsey sneered

"Oh Halsey?!" Hailey cautioned her twin "that was a bit rude"

"Ugh! I meant that as a joke you dumb bunny"

"It's okay, blame your brother for looking so yummy in our school uniform" Lara said as she roared the car and started to move.

"So you like him?" Hailey asked

"Huh?" Lara feigned not hearing the question but I knew she did

"Do you like our brother?"  She asked again.

"Uhm... I.... I erm..." Lara struggled to answer.

There was an uncomfortable silence in the car, so I took the aux cord and started playing Bazzi's album.

"Car sing along girls?" I interrupted, winking at Lara who was totally flushed with embarrassment.
As I played Soarin before they could even think to reply. They both loved him so I knew it would distract them and in no time they were singing, with Hailey being the loudest and almost outdoing bazzi on his own song. I looked back at Lara and her face was more relaxed now, I smiled a little knowing she wouldn't choke.

Lara and I met in applied physics class, the teacher had split the class into two for a quiz and the people in my group voted me to represent the group following what had happened in the chemistry class the other day, while Lara was representing the other group. It was my first time seeing her, but being my third day in school I thought I could already recognize everyone in my class by then, so i looked around and saw some other new faces and a few absent ones, the ones of the people on the School's sports team, well I only checked to see I'd see Benita. Lara looked very academic, and I could tell she was prim and proper by how perfect pressed her uniform was. I could also tell she was Pretty too, beneath her transparent reading glasses that sat cutely on her nose were a set of eyes that looked like Venus, and her diamond shaped face really accentuated her cheekbones, her face was sculpted to perfection, same as her body, she was built like an Amazonian princess, bold and confident.
I could also tell she was smart, she had to be to have voted to represent the other half of the class.
