My Bedroom

I went upstairs to get Jughead's room ready. I looked at my watch and it said 9:05pm. I had to get his room done because I like the kids in bed by 9:40, the latest is 10pm. I got Jughead a desk but it was too hard to build

"Hal!! Can you please come up here honey I need you to build the desk?!" I shouted from upstairs

In about 2 minutes Hal came in

"Hey honey, what did you need?"

As soon as he saw all of the parts to the desk and book shelf on the floor and Alice trying to read the instructions while they were upside down he flipped the instructions over in her hands, kissed her on the cheek and ran back down stairs to get the tools from the garage.

When he came back, he started building everything while Alice was doing the beds the books she got for him in the book shelf.

"Alice sweetheart, there's at least 50 books, do you think he will read them?"

"Well, the social services lady showed me his reports and he is exactly like Betty! A's in every subject." I replied back excited because the other boys were only really good at sports but Jughead was good at sports and had a 4.0 grade average.

We had finished Jughead's room and went to go tell him.

After Betty's parents went up to go do my room Betty took me in her room.

"Sorry we didn't have this organised earlier for you Jughead. I'm just going to sort out all of our books for tomorrow."

"Betty, I have no idea why you're sorry. I'm just happy that you let me live here, I don't mind if I sleep in a sleeping bag in the garage! Also you have a lot of books, do you need help sorting and labelling them?

"They're not all mine silly! They are mine, yours, Jack's, Charles', Henri's and Max's!" She said giggling at me like I was crazy.

That giggle again... it was irresistible. I started tickling her to make her giggle more.

"S-s-s-stopppp J-J-Juggie!" She was giggling so much until I stopped.

"Juggie?"

"Sorry it just slipped out." She said reminding me of when I nearly called her Betts.

"It's ok Betts!" I said as she started giggling again.

After 5 minutes of a tickle war I said

"We should really sort out those books now. School is tomorrow!"

"You're right."

"I'm always right Betts!" I said back with a smirk

After we were about done with the books we heard a knock at Betty's door.

"Hey Jughead your room is done if you want to come and check it out!"

Betty and I walked to the room across from her room and when I walked into the room the first thing I saw was a bookshelf stuffed with books. That made me very happy. There was a desk with a plain light, a pencil holder with pens, pencils and more stationary and then I saw a desktop, not just any desktop though, it was the newest apple brand one. I ran up to Alice and Hal and hugged them both.

"Thank you so much!!! You didn't have to do this. I will do anything you want. I can even do all the chores..."

I got cut off by Hal

"Don't be silly Jughead. There's no need to thank us because this is all for your education and you shouldn't have to thank anyone for an education."
