I had my arms Crossed staring at the man before us . He sat shaking , gawking at me like I had a third head.

"You knew that these elf demons where going to attack us didn't you ? You intentionally lead us here !" Alexei accused

"N-no no ! I mean yes and no !You don't understand !" He continued "we are or -we're going to the mining city .. and it was or at least use to be a legit job . However my daughter Nina was kidnapped by those men two nights ago .. I had no idea that they were .. Demons .. they haven't let me see her however they said if I brought them someone else with exotic looks , they'd consider switching . They planned this , but the plan was suppose to happen at their camp . It's just a mile from here .And I lied my my name is Cona .. I-i swear that's everything !"

"You as-" I stopped Alexei ..

"You are aware this is beyond our qualifications " air quoting qualifications. "Probably a good or even a mythril .." i paused "however let's say we continue this quest , kill of these demons , and save your kid"

"I would be most thankful " he yelled bowing "but I don't have that type of money" he sadly said

"Oh no the pay stays the same however , you'll explain the whole situation to the adventurer guild master . Put in a good word and help us rank up . Being copper plated is bo-Ring " saying boring like it was two different words

"Well aren't you a genius my lord" I heard Alexei muttered to himself

I jumped onto the cart , holding my hand out to the little boy . Pulling him up .

"Well what are you waiting for let's go "

"Oh yes yes" eagerly Cona said pulling the reins .

It wasn't Long before we arrived at the base of these creatures . Human bones laid around , with a campfire lighting up the night sky. Skulls were propped up like decorations, warnings set off as I saw no one . I jumped off the cart taking off the eyepatch

It allowed me to see in the dark , I checked the bushes

My eyes widened as I heard a muffled noise, Alexei pushed me out the way as a axe was now lodged where I stood

"Above !" Alexei yelled as multiple replicated elf's jumped down from the trees

"Your allowed to join" I said to Alexei pulling out my katana

I jumped away forming hand signs before drawing a pentagon in the sky

I formed a gun with my fingers , "shooting " at five of the elf's . They fell to their feet screaming grabbing the sides of their heads . The others looked at me , running towards me

Shit I can't stop to defend myself without canceling the spell

Sweat formed on my head , before Lord Tsuyoi jumped beside me. Yelling out a martial arts skill and slashing through the hordes of elf's , killing them with one swing .

Yes ! Thanks my lord ! God your so strong ! Now I'll protect you
