ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU

CHAPTER-12

The next morning , Nandini woke up first due to the sun's rays falling on her face she tried to sit up , then only she noticed their position.

Manik had his one arm wrapped around her waist holding her close to himself tightly as if afraid she would run away if he loosened his hold even slightly on her.

Her head was kept on one of the pillows while Manik's head was half on the pillow and half on her shoulder .

He tried to shift even more closer to her and pulled her even more closer to him if that was even possible while trying to hide his face in the crook of her neck and hair in an attempt to avoid or you can say escape the cruel rays of sun.(Well I feel that way when I feel too lazy to wake up.)

She smiled at his cute and almost baby like antics she slowly and carefully took his arm off of her and got off the bed.

He groaned a bit in irritation but nevertheless he hugged the pillow which was kept near him she just shook her head at him at him and went to draw the curtains so that he can sleep peacefully for some more time as it was just six and a half.

She went and sat beside the bed after bending on her knees , after admiring him for a while , she lightly ruffled his hair and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead and whispered lightly to him , " Sleep well my dear hubby."

When she went to the bathroom after taking out her clothes from the cupboard , Manik opened his eyes and looked towards the bathroom door with a broad smile on his face.

He woke up before only when she tried to get out of his hold but pretended to sleep.

Manik - "I love you so much wifey." , he said still looking at the door.

He then closed his eyes and slept again with a smile still playing on his lips. 

After sometime Nandini came out wearing a red saree , after getting ready she took out Manik's clothes and went downstairs to prepare breakfast.

Days passed , they came more and more closer to each other , they had their own special moments , they understood each other much better now then before.

Nandini too had joined hospital , Raj and Nyonika too got more closer and attached to Nandini.

Manik and Nandini knew many more things about each other than anyone else knew about them but they still haven't told each other about the secrets which they are hiding from each other .

Nandini still haven't told Manik about why she left and Manik still haven't told Nandini that FAB5 is only a music band but not the friends they once were.

ONE MONTH LATER----~

"Aren't you going to sleep Manik?" , Nandini asked Manik as she saw that he still didn't made any move to leave his laptop as she sat on the bed beside him.

"No Nandini , I am not going to sleep now as some important work from the office is still left." , he didn't even looked up which clearly told her that it was indeed  very important .

She answered with a simple okay and laid down on the bed facing away from him.

She just threw occasional glances but then after sometime when she got tired of trying to sleep without his warmth she fully turned around to face him and wrapped her arms around his waist after moving closer to him.

She sighed feeling his warmth against her body and closed her eyes taking in a deep breath.

Manik looked at her when he felt her turning around and a smile came on his lips unknowingly looking at her cute antics.

He leaned down and kissed the side of her head.

Manik -"Good night , Angel."

She mumbled a good night back but didn't opened her eyes , clearly very sleepy.

Manik too got back to his work , after almost an hour later he completed his work and kept his laptop on the bedside table after shutting it off.

He looked at her and lightly ruffled her hair , then went to the washroom after unwrapping her arms from around him.

He came back and was about to lay down on the bed beside her when he heard Nandini murmuring something .

Manik looked at her and saw that tears were streaming down her cheeks , she was murmuring no and asking for help.

Manik was confused yet at the same time worried for her , he lightly tapped on her cheek , trying to wake her up.

" Nandini" , he called out her name . "Wake up angel. It's fine."

She opened her eyes and sat up on the bed suddenly. 

Manik too sat up straight as he was leaning on the bed and pulled her onto his lap , wrapping his arms around her , cradling her small body against his big frame.

She too wrapped her arms around his waist tightly and kept her head on his chest.

Manik - "It's okay Nandini , everything is fine. It was just a nightmare jaan."

He kept murmuring soothing words in her ear , all the while running his fingers down her long dark hair , if only he knew that it was anything but a nightmare.

Somewhere in some place there was a boy sitting staring at a picture of a girl we can only see the back of the boy . We can also  identify that the girl in the picture is none other than Nandini .

We can hear him say to the picture -" Finally I found you Nandini and this time I will make you mine. That's my promise to you and no one will be able to save you from me . "

Then he started laughing evilly.
