Ch 1: New family

Hi everyone! This chapter is more about our beloved couple- Astrid and Hiccup. The future ones also but the new generation will be playing the bigger role. It's inspired by the third part of the movie so if you don't want spoilers...well too late, I guess but I'm still happy to have you here :)

I wrote it a while ago so I think it's finally time to publish it. Let's go!

Hiccup looked at Astrid. A wreath made from fresh-picked daises was perfectly composing with her blond hair. Her eyes, watchful as always, were now filled with love and affection. Her smile, oh gods, her beautiful smile made him the happiest person in the whole world.

"Oh kiss her already!" someone shouted

Hiccup knew this voice and kept in mind to smack Tuffnut later for braking such a moment. But now...He grabbed Astrid by her waist, leaned in and kissed passionately. The crowd cheered loudly as Astrid, still kissing her husband, threw away her bouquet. 

That night Hiccup with his wife stepped into their house not suspecting that in their bedroom was waiting a little surprise from their friends.

"Oh gods!" Astrid snorted "It looks ridiculous."

Hiccup looked around the room - it was full of fresh-picked flowers (very fresh considering that some of them had still roots and dirt on them), candles and a heart-shaped pile of snacks covered in petals.

"Fishlegs said that they wanted to be sure we'd have a memorable wedding night." he said finally

"Heh! Well, I won't forget this shitty decor for a long long time." she sat on the bed and picked up a small piece of paper "But it's very nice of them."

"What's that?"

"A letter from our dear decorators." she bit her lip as she started reading it "Those dirty-minded bastards..." she mumbled

"Whoah! What does it say?" he tried to take the paper from her but Astrid quickly threw it away.

"Let's get out of here." she stood up "I'm a little bit intimidated by that decorations."

"Yeah, good idea."

It was winter so before they left, Hiccup grabbed his thick cloak. They went through the balcony to the roof. He gave her a hand to help her climb but, as always, she simply pushed his hand away and gracefully jumped on the roof. When they were finally on the top of the house, Hiccup embraced her and covered with his cloak. Astrid grabbed his hand.

"I still can't believe we're actually married." she said stroking his palm

"Me neither. I would never have thought that you would really marry someone like me." he laughed nervously

"Oh stop it!" she elbowed him

"Ouch! But think about it...had you thought that you'd marry me when we first met?"

"Oh hell no!" she laughed "You seemed so pathetic. And honey, I had some standard. ...Which you fulfilled after our first ride."

"You mean on the dragon, right?"

"HICCUP!"

"Ouch! Ouch! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

They stared at the stars in silence for a while, when Astrid asked "Do you think that Toothless and White Fury will have children?"

"They'll be loving parents at some point of their lives, I'm sure of it."

"And what will happen to us?"
