Finn's p.o.v

I could barely concentrate on the rode as we were driving home. I wanted to go back and kill that bastard. But I just hate myself for doing that in front of Heather. She looked so scared... so scared of ME.

But I just couldn't take the fact that he was trying to hurt her. She's too fragile, too sweet, too lovable. Why would he want to hurt someone like her? What did she ever do to him? What kind of sick guy would want to do bad things to an innocent girl like Heather?

I pressed on the breaks once I noticed that we were outside of Heather's house. Nobody said anything, I just sat there as everyone slowly piled out.

"You coming, Finn?" Mason asked looking back at me

I shook my head staring down at my bruised and bloody hands "I'll be a minute" I mumbled the girls were already inside when I finally looked up. Mason got back in "I know what your thinking, mate" he said glances at me "you wish you hadn't done that, don't ya?" He added

I punched the steering wheel frustrated with myself. "I fucked up, I shouldn't have done it in front of her." I yelled not realizing the tears that were running down my face.

"Finn, you did the right thing whether Heather was there or not, he was going to hurt her. If you wouldn't have shown up and done that we don't know what could've happened to her" he said looking me straight in the eye his hand on my shoulder squeezing for reassurance once in a while

I repeatedly punched the steering wheel draining the anger that was still flooding my body, growls and groans of pain left my lips as I punched the steering wheel the cuts and bruises on my hands only getting worse.

What exactly was he going to do to her if I wouldn't have come? Why was he in that broke down ass house anyway? I believe that that house has been abandoned for years now. But Heather obviously didn't notice because she would've gotten scared and left.

I calmed myself down and got out of the car, Mason doing the same and following me down the brick pathway to the front door of the house. We go in and almost immediately I'm standing at Heather's bedroom door about to knock. But her door swings open to reveal a girl with red and puffy eyes, tear stained cheeks and a red nose.

I hugged her, repeatedly apologizing, sobs leave her lips as I hold her close to me. I pick her up and lay her on her bed I lay beside her and pulls her close to me.

"I'm so sorry Heather" I whisper in her ear she nods and presses her face against my chest. Her breathing becoming slow and steady, telling me that she's asleep.

"I love you, Heather" I whisper once again before kissing her forehead and leaving her bed and exiting the room slowly and silently shutting the door. An irritated sigh leaving me lips.
