The vampires lure (MxM)

"It's all fun and games until the cops show up. And then it's hide and seek" he laughed in the dead of the night. The men stood anxiously around there master, like loyal dogs with their tails tucked between their legs. George had been arguing with the man for some time, his silver tongue as sharp as his blade. So much damage was done when George argued. Every mean thing he'd thought but knew better than to say came flooding out. When he saw hurt in his opponents eyes he never backed off, only dug deeper, like a hunter at the first sign of blood. So when he started out on this man we only held our breath. Hopefully he wouldn't start a shootout.

The man gritted his teeth and tried to get a word in but George wouldn't let him. He was stalling. But why? The man couldn't get a word in edgeways. I couldn't help but chuckle a little until the man turned his attempts to me in desperation.
"You know this guy?" He asked with his voice dipped in sarcasm. I simply rolled my eyes.
"Know him. Yeah I tried to kill him four times last week," the man looked at me in shock. "Right now that I've made it weird I'm going to leave now" before I could George grabbed my hand and pulled me in.
"Avoid the west entrance of the docks, darling" he said and I couldn't help but blush slightly he nearly never called me that.
"Will do, boss" I said with a slight redness to my face.

The saying curiosity killed the cat was one of the saying I usually live by but not today...
Instead of heading south back to the house I headed west to the docks. The boxes stood high enough cover for a hunter like me, my movements were fluid and soft. Not a single noise was made from me as I weaved in and out of the boxes avoiding any people. I recognised some of George's men at the docks and figure I found the right place. Blood... packs of blood.
Like those you see in doctors movies, it was only a small box but still. I'd had seen enough for one day because right now I was so confused. I left towards the south heading back to the house.

Was George a vampire? But he can walk in the sun. Hiring vampires? Nope they all walk in the light. Making them? Nah need venom for that... I was shocked out of my skin and jumped about six foot when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Calm down kiddo" George said and I just rolled my eyes. I felt the urge to ask him about the blood but I was instructed to not go to the docks. So I bit my tongue. George looked at me confused but I kept walking towards the steps of the house.
"You went to the docks didn't you?" George asked with a hint of anger in his voice. My muscles tensed up.
"And if I did?" I said firmly.

"I'd have to kill you" he said and like that I was off like a shot. After all the years together he was going to kill me over some blood.
"You would kill me over some blood?!" I hissed at him as I fumbled for the handle to the doors.
"No but I'd have to keep you here forever" he said as he walked closer to me. The blush that covered my face was like a wild fire, burning brightly. It was no secret to most that he held place a huge place in my heart, for god sake I'd know him since we were kids.

"What?" I said as I stopped in my tracks. I turned just in time to see the shock in George's eyes as he ran into me at full speed.
"Ow" I said as I rubbed my leg, I tried to push George of me but he stayed still.
"To answer your question no I would never harm you... the blood is mine" he spoke as if his statement would actually clear things up.
"That still explains nothing" I screamed at him
"Well would you believe me if I said vampires exist"
"Yeah because like I said I've seen them before but you never tend to listen" he just laid there with his mouth wide open.

"Well I was not expecting you to say that" he said all confused. I laughed a little...
"Well I'll explain the rest then, vampires have been coming into our territory and I needed a way to draw them out"
"So your using your blood to draw them out so you can kill them, yes?" I said trying to fill in the gaps. I only then noticed how close he was to my face...
"So yup that explains everything now I need to go do- err paperwork" I stuttered in a panic trying to get away from him.

"Wait-" he said as he held my face so I wouldn't move "I was serious though you can't leave my side"
"I won't" I smiled as I got up, I ruffled his hair as I walked away and I could've sworn I say a smile. Over the next couple of days the compound was on high alert as more vampires turned up and George seemed more exhausted every day. Someone knocked at my door and asked me
"Sir, have you the master today" the voice echoed.
"I have not did he not have a meeting today?" The man nodded, I jumped up to go and find George.

His room was the first place I checked and lucky for me he was still in his bed... I walked over and he didn't look his best. A touch to his forehead and it was burning hot.
"George" I called to him but he just groaned in response.
"Georgie I'm gonna move you to the shower, we've gotta cool you down kid" I said as I hauled his huge ass to the shower. I took most of his clothes off and turned the shower too ice cold. His fever went down pretty quickly and he look more like he had a cold than on deaths door.

He clung to me like a child would to his mother. It made me laugh that a mafia man would be so vulnerable it was kinda cute.
"Come on let's get u back to bed" I tried to get up but Georgie wouldn't let me go he shuffled closer and pulled me into a hug. I quickly switched off the shower.
"I'll stay with u but in bed because I'm freezing" he looked up and smiled "stay her while I go and change the bed"

The bed was a quick change and I pushed him into the bed so he got comfortable...
what happened next I was not expecting he leaned over and connected his lips with mine. I jumped back so fast I nearly fell off the bed.
"Eh"
"Told you I wouldn't let you leave my side" he smiled as he laid back down content with his actions. I laid there shocked maybe it wasn't such a bad thing.

I didn't dare move for I was perfectly content with lying here with George.
"I'm not leaving your side anytime soon Georgie..." and with that I fell asleep.
