The morning started out like any other... in agonising pain for the hero of this story. An unlikely hero some would say, a hero that started off her story as an assassin. There was a hundred names for our hero, some she despised others she didn't mind, her favorite perhaps by far was The Hunter
Theresa didn't expect today to change like this one did. I'll let the story explain...

I groaned as I rolled over the Burning from my ribs would make anyone not want to move. Last night was not exactly what I'd call a good job, it was a long night to say the least. I got up and headed towards the shower hoping that the scalding hot water would take my mind off the most likely broken ribs. As the water got hotter and hotter waves of relaxation came over my body. Running around grabbing clean clothes and chucking them on my mind wandered to the thoughts of coffee.

Deciding that was probably a better idea the lying in my bed all day. I headed out to the local coffee shop, for a small town it was quite impressive. I was in my own world on suddenly I ran into something. I look down to see a smaller girl with light brown hair and bright blue eyes looking up at me.
"Sorry-" she mumbled as she looked down at her feet. I was to busy drooling over how adorable she look in her shorts that I couldn't say say anything else before she quickly glanced over her shoulder and ran off. Three larger men came out running behind her I decided coffee may not be first on my list of thing to do today. I moved quickly to incapacitate the first two men which was easy enough with a punch to the throat, the third was a little bit larger than the first two men.

I was too lazy to do anything fancy so I lifted my foot in between legs as hard as I could and the man crumbled like a ton of bricks. With a quick knee to the face the man was out for the count. I turned around and looked for the girl but she was a lot faster than I was anticipating. I headed in the general direction she was heading and managed to catch a glimpse with her small frame running towards the forest.
I wondered why I was chasing after the girl maybe it was her beauty that I was chasing...

It didn't take me long to find her. She tried to hide herself among the trees very unsuccessfully.
"You call that a hiding spot" I laughed... what I was not expecting was a foot come flying towards my face. I quickly caught it and laughed again.
"Who are you?" She hissed at me and tried to back away. Even when she was angry she looked adorable.
"Theresa, others call me hunter. And you little one?" I said as I let go of her leg that she'd just tried to kick me with.
" I'm Lily" I smile what an cute name.

"Thank you for helping me, Hunter"
"How'd you get yourself into this mess?"
"Wrong place, wrong time" she scratches her neck and gave a sideways smile.
"It seems I was in the right place at the right time" I smirk at her and she blushed and looked at the floor.
"Come on I'll take you home so you can get cleaned up" she was hesitant at first but I suppose I'm just a stranger to her so its normal but she nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me along.

Her place was exactly how I expected it, it was all... cute. There was bright wall paper all over the apartment and photos. Normal people stuff far from my knife collection hanging on my wall. She was quick to just in the shower while I sat in the front room.
"Hunter" she called and I couldn't help but smile when my name rolled off her tongue. I stood up and wondered to the bathroom. She stood behind the door with her head poking at the side. I couldn't help but laugh she looked adorable.

"Could you pass me the towel, I forgot it" I smile and walked over to hand her the towel. It was too busy staring at her to notice that I may have been staring too long. She hide behind the door even more.
"Theres no need to hide that beauty" as cheesy as that line was she blushed furiously as she giggled.
"Not used to all the attention, huh?" I smirked she just looked up at me and shook her head. I couldn't help but take a step forward and lift her head up so she couldn't hide from me.

She looked beautiful, freckles littered her face and also a slight red blush engulfed her face. She smiled and leaned into my touch. Before I knew what I was doing I learnt down and captured her lips with mine. She moaned into the kiss...

Maybe I was in the right place and the right time.
