“Wake up!” Mira opened her eyes and then turned over.
“Stop.” She mumbled and pressed her pillow over her head. Changbin took her blankets and ripped them off her. She jolted up and held her pillow to her chest.
“I’m not wearing a shirt Seo Changbin!” She yelled and threw a stuffed animal at him. Changbin’s eyes widened at the sight of her skin but he quickly turned and threw her blanket back.
“Get dressed. We have to leave... Now.” After she threw on one of Changbin's hoodies, Mira slowly opened the room door and peeked out.
"Why do we have to leave?" Changbin leaned closer to her and his eyes darkened.
"There are many other districts out there, and a few of them heard that we have a girl in ours. They are coming here to find you." Mira rolled her eyes and started stuffing things into her backpack... Again.
"What's so bad about a few guys wanting to see me?" Changbin grabbed her shoulders and stared into her eyes.
"The bad thing is their not coming just to look at you. They want to do things to you, bad things. Chan says we need to get you out of here before they come." Mira bit her lower lip and then stepped closer to him so that they were chest to chest.
"We? Are you just helping me because your leader wants you to? You... You don't have to help me if you don't want to. I can go find Hyun-" Changbin gently ran his fingers down her arm and frowned.
"I am helping you because I know its the right thing to do." he took her bag and helped her stuff a blanket into it. "Besides, HyunJin will probably kill me if you even get a bruise so, better safe than sorry." Mira laughed softly and then took in a deep breath.
"Okei sir, where are we going now?" Changbin stood at the window and then closed the curtains.
"Out of the district."
"Out of the district?" Chan threw his hands up with exasperation. "We're trying to keep her away from the other districts, and yet you're taking her out of District 9?" Changbin crossed his arms and grinned.
"I know a place that would be good to hid a girl." Woojin looked up from his piano and pushed his sleeve up.
"Oh yea, I know what our little dongsaeng is talking about. There's a place right outside of our district. It's a small place, but more cozy than our safe room."
"Yea Hyung," Felix's deep voice rang out from another room. "We took her mother there when-" Mira held her backpack strap more tightly and Jisung left to probably go hit him. She gave them a reassuring smile and tossed her hair back.
"I am fine with anything. I will go wherever you guys want me to go." Chan nodded slowly and then pulled on his bangs thoughtfully. "I think HyunJin should go with you two-"
"No." Changbin quickly shut his mouth and then scratched his head. "I mean, the less people there are, the less likely they are to be found. Right? I think it would be best is it was just us two." I.N nodded slowly and pushed his glasses up.
"I think HyunJin hyung should go too. He seems to be Mira's comfort, you know?" Mira laughed and pulled on her cousin's arm.
"Yes, you should come with us." She clasped their hands together and pulled him out of the room. Changbin watched them leave and then frowned. He would have to try again later.
