AN- sorry, I wasn't sure if y'all read my comment on the last chapter but I had school and lots of homework so I couldn't update too much but I wanted to make a really good chapter and I spent four hours working on it and I was really proud but Wattpad deleted it. I was really upset so I kinda gave up for a while, anyways, here's the not as good version. I'm really sorry guys.
Alex's POV
He stepped forward and I pulled the loaded pistol from my pocket. As if I'd ever travel across the country to meet a stranger without one. He slowly stepped back.
"Don't move." I commanded.
He dropped the knife.
"Say you're sorry." I ordered.
"Excuse me?!" He said.
"You killed him, say you're sorry." I repeated. I had to hear this, more for me than anything.
"No." He said.
"Very well." I replied. I closed my eyes and placed my finger on the trigger. My ears where ringing from the blast. I opened my eyes to see Danny on the ground In a poll of his own blood, dead.
But I never pulled the trigger, meaning one thing.
I dived behind the table and planned my escape.
"Alex wait!" Called a familiar voice.
"Mom?" I said.
"Hurry Alex we have to get out of here." She said.
I didn't budge. "Why'd you do that?" I questioned.
"So you wouldn't have too." She said, grabbing my arm and attempting to pull me.
But I wasn't moving until I got some answers.
"How'd you find me?" I asked.
"After you left I checked your computer history and caught a flight here." she explained impatiently.
I nodded and we walked to a hotel. She got a room and told me to stay here.
Violet's POV (missed writing that)
I dropped Alex off at a hotel and went down to the police station. I told them Danny was threatening my daughter and they believed me, since he'd threatened me before.
I did some paper work and gave my statement and eventually they let me go. I went back to the hotel, Alex was asleep.
I fell asleep soon as well, it'd been a long day.
Morning came and we got a flight back to San Diego, Alex had headphones in the whole time but I didn't mind. I needed time to think. What if she hates me?
We landed and took a taxi home. I fell asleep, I haven't traveled that much since Alex was born.
I finally woke up at 6:30 and made dinner. I called over Trix and explained everything.
"Should I put her in counseling?" I asked.
"Probably. She might hate you but it sounds like the best thing to do." She advised.
Alex's POV (I know Violets was short, sorry)
I woke up to a note on my door.
"Alex,
Trix is picking you up for counseling at 4:00. Be good, I love you.
-mom"
She's been avoiding me since the "incident." I don't blame her, I'd avoid me too. But I'm not mad. She saved me, but I'm just not sure I'll ever be the same again. It's kind of hard after watching your mom kill the guy who killed your dad and uncle. Man, people really need to stop killing each other.
I was brushing my hair when Grandpa Vic walked in.
"What's up?" I forced a smile.
"Don't mess with me, I'm hear to tell you a story." He started. "About a sad man."
"Shut up and let me see your jazz hands." I mumbled.
"Excuse me?" He asked, shocked.
"Nothing," I said. "It's just, remember when you was a mad man?"
"Alex?" He questioned, as if unsure of who he was talking to.
"Fine." I said. "But I don't love you like I did yesterday."
"That's enough!" He said. "Tell me what the joke is."
I burst out laughing. "And all the things that you never ever told me."
"Forget it, I'll tell you later. I forgot what I was even saying." He said angrily.
"I can't always just forget her." I said. He walked out if the room.
"So long and goodnight!" I called.
"Alex!" He yelled.
"What?" I asked innocently.
He didn't answer.
"Ever get the feeling that you're all alone, and I remember now."
I just laughed. It was good to have things back to normal, or mostly normal.
I reached for my phone, then I remembered. They hate me.
I sighed and walked downstairs.
"What happened to Vic?" Asked Trix.
"He couldn't handle The Black Parade." I said.
AN- (again, I know I know. Sorry.) anyways, I'm sorry for the short bad chapter but I'm going through a lot right now In my personal life. So sorry guys, but I'm just really tired lately. Thanks for the reads and supporting me and voting and commenting nice things. I always smile when I see people say nice things and I'm so glad to say that this story hasn't gotten a single hate comment so thank you guys!! You're honestly the best.
