"Felicidades" Chris hugs me excitedly "siempre quise un sobrino"

"voy a tener un hermanito" Vivian squeals excitedly hugging Arely with so much emotion

"tienen nombre?" Arely asks us 

"vamos a mantenerlo como una sorpresa " Zabdiel answers 

Vivian puts her head against my belly "hermanoito ya salga ya quiero conocerte"

I smile playing with her "Mi nina Hermosa vete por tus cosas ya viene tu papi por ti"

she kisses my belly one last time before running upstairs 

Zabdiel opens his arms for Arely and she walks to him 

"que tienes nena?" Zabdiel asks 

"Cuando llegue el bebé, toda vea me Amarás?" she asks 

Zabdiel looks at her frowning "claro que si mi amor" 

"pareces distraído últimamente" she says her eyes wondering around

"bebe, sólo estamos emocionados" I tell her "Cuando llegue el bebé, vamos a amarte a ti y a tu hermana de la misma"

she smiles at me "bien"

zabdiel and I hug her one last time before the door bell rings and I go to answer it 

"Hola Joel" I answer my ex husband 

he looks at my belly first like always and then he greets me "Y Vivian?" he asks 

I look behind me and back at him "she's still getting her things" I tell him

he nods stuffing his hands in his pockets "can we talk?"

I raise my eyebrows "is everything okay?" I ask

he shakes his head "lets talk in private, yeah?"

I nod closing the door and standing outside with him 

"what's wrong?" I ask him 

"Me and Perla are getting a divorce"

my eyes widen "yall haven't even been married for a year!" I exclaim 

he runs a hand through his hair "She's too much, I can't handle it much longer"

I stand in silence while he paces through my porch

he pauses and looks at me "it's you"

my eyes widen "what did I do?" I panic 

he shakes his head "I want to be with you" he rephrases himself "it's always been you"

I look at him like he's crazy "Joel, i'm having a family" I glance at my belly 

he grabs my hand "we already have a family"

"But zabdiel is who I want to be with" I say getting out of his touch

"Imagine how happy Vivian will be" He tries to convince me but I remain with my answer 

"Yeah" I agree "But Vivian is happier with how things are now" I tell him "Plus she's happy that there's a baby in the way"

he shakes his head "What about me?"

I furrow my eyebrows "What about you"

he chuckles "Your life is going really good"

I nod smiling "Its like a dream come true" I admit "I'm really happy"

he nods "When am I going to have my happy ever after?" he looks at me sadly 

I put my hand on his shoulder "Don't look for love. Let love come to you"

he smiles at me "Your really amazing" he says as I put my head on his shoulder "I can't believe I let you slip away" he kisses my head 

This makes my heart skip a beat "We'll always be co parents" I joke 

he laughs and that's when our girl comes into view "Papi" Vivian smiles "When did you get here? Zabdi me dijo que estabas afuera" she greets her father with a hug and a kiss in the cheek 

"Solo estaba hablando con tu mama" he smiles at me  

"Did mommy tell you that i'm going to have a baby brother" Vivian tugs his hand happily 

Joel looks at me with wide eyes "Your having a boy?" he asks me grinning 

"Yes" I place a hand on my belly 

he grins at me "Have you and Zabdiel picked a name yet?" 

I place a finger on my lips "we decided to keep it a secret" I smile 

he nods and looks a Vivian "Lista?" he asks her 

she nods "Ready" 

"Go kiss your mom" he tells her 

her little feet run to me "adios mami" she gives me a kiss and leaves a big kiss on my belly "adios hermanito" then she runs to Joel's car 

Joel waves at me goodbye 

I wave as they drive out of my driveway 

I smile at the thought that Joel is turning back into the person I met when I dated him
