The man laughed and as Ona blinked she found herself in the same position she put him in before , he held her sword against her neck and tightly pulled on her arm as he sat on her back, Ona struggled to breathe a bit with him on top of her
"Tera," Ona screamed out, "Tera help me!" Tears threatened to fall out of her eyes.
"You keep screaming out Tera, is Tera your sister?" The man asked harshly, Ona struggled and gasped out.
"N-no." Ona could barely whisper out, her throat stung from the screaming. Ona felt tears fall from her eyes, the man inhaled air hashly. Ona asked herself over and over in her head if she was going to die.
"Are you seriously crying?" The man asked, Ona gave up, she started sobbing, she didn't care who heard, Ona had not experienced something like this before. The man went silent and froze as Ona cried, after about a minute Ona was calm but noticed he wasn't holding onto her roughly anymore, Ona used that to her advantage, with her balled hand where she was holding onto her pocket knife she used all the strength she could muster and stabbed the man's arm, he cried out and let go for a second, Ona quickly crawled out from under him, she pulled the pocket knife out and tried to run away but Ona noticed she was past exhaustion, she felt herself being barely able to walk. The man roughly grabbed her arm and pulled her close to him, he grabbed her face, she shook in fear but couldn't resist, she was exhausted and she had lost a lot of blood from her right leg.
"Please no, I promised my grandma I wouldn't die!" Ona whispered out, more tears dripped from her eyes, her cheeks stung from the tears.
"I-I n-need to become an assassin." Ona cried out, something inside her told her that the man wasn't going to let her live.
"W-why are you doing this." Ona cried out, she was going to die. Tera's promise to her grandma would be broken.
"Assassin?" The man asked Ona who was limp, he let go of her face, he probably could have let her fall if he wanted to.
"That will be interesting, I guess i'll have to see you there then!" The man spoke out, Ona thought to herself in confusion.
"You have to give me something if I leave you, half of your energy would be nice, maybe i'll just take all of it?" The man questioned to himself aloud, Ona was confused, what was he talking about?
"I'll leave you little bit so you can regenerate it." The man finally came to a conclusion, he smiled evilly at Ona.
"What are you-" Ona was about to ask but she was interrupted, his lips were attached to hers, he was kissing her?
"I'm still weak if I can't resist." Ona thought to herself.
Ona tried to struggle, Ona felt like something was being taken from here, at this point Ona could barely keep her eyes open, another tear crept out of her eyes and rolled down her cheeks, she stared into the man's eyes, that was the last thing she saw before she went out.
"Sage you shouldn't take advantage of someone like that!" The last sentence she heard.
--
Ona felt something against her lips and down her throat, her eyes widened and she choked.
"Ona it's okay, i'm here!" A voice shouted, it was Tera. Tera was giving Ona water, Ona looked at her surroundings. It was bright and Ona was lying on a mat, they weren't in the forest anymore.
"Tera where are we?" Ona asked, she was still tired but her throat felt more fresh and awake with water in her sytem and down her sore throat.
"We left the forest days ago, I found you all beaten and I panicked so I sprinted out of the forest with you on my back then I saw Izaak from Mandora, he knows the art of medical care so he helped you out." Tera explained slowly and clearly for Ona, Ona turned her head. She saw a guy tying a bag shut, he nodded and waved at her. All of a sudden memories of last night came crashing into her mind. Ona went red and started shaking in anger.
"That stupid creep kissed me!" Ona raged out, she sat up fastly. Izaak quickly ran over and tried to help her lay down but she struggled.
"Please lay down Ona from Imporia, you aren't at full energy yet." Izaak pleaded with anger in his eyes, Ona sighed and laid on the ground.Ona realised she had a bandage on her leg, and it wasn't bleding so she realised he had probably stiched it up and didn't want her to open it up. Ona thought to herself for a second, she calmed down.
"That guy's name must be Sage because of that other voice I heard, or maybe I just heard it?" Ona asked herself in her head, Ona was confused.
"Hey do you guys know any guy named Sage?" Ona asked, she looked at Tera and Izaak, Izaak thought but nodded his head no. Tera looked surprised, she showed pain in her eyes then she sighed and nodded her head no.
"Not really, there used to be a guy in my village named Sage but he died long ago." Tera replied, Ona frowned.
"Some guy that i'm pretty sure is named Sage attacked me last night, he said something about stealing some of my energy or something?" Ona questioned herself aloud, Izaak's eyes sparkled with suspicion.
"You said he kissed you right?" Izaak asked Ona, Ona nodded, Tera looked at Ona with shock.
"There is many ways in stealing someone's energy, you can use weapons, touch someone, and kiss them, those are most commonly used." Izaak told Ona, Ona's eyes widened, she remembered being cut, touching him and being kissed. Her memory was slightly fuzzy, certain details Ona knew she was missing.
"He did all three, he chased me around with a huge sword, he cut me once, then he was on top of me then he kissed me!" Ona cried out, her face went red with anger.
"That was my first kiss!" She squealed out in her mind, her face turned into an ugly scowl and she covered it with her hands.
"He must be some sort of pervert," Tera veered out," Anyways your energy wont be back fully by tomorrow so lets pray that the exams don't start of too harsh." Ona stared at Tera in confusion and disinterest.
"You guys keep talking about energy, my muscles feel fine and i'm wide awake!" Ona told the two of them, she sat up and stretched. Tera slapped Ona's forehead with her hand and sighed. Ona rubbed her head in pain and wondered why Tera would do such a thing.
"Internal energy, for someone so hardcore on becoming an assassin you are pretty clueless." Tera groaned out, Izaak looked at Tera.
"Tera of Memoria you should be worried too, you used alot of energy in order to print out of the forest." Izaak interviened, Tera nodded.
"I am fully aware, I must go get more information, you may teach Ona about about energy." Tera demanded of Izaak, Izaak tried to protest but Tera zipped out of the clearing. Izaak sighed then looked at Ona and sat on his knees.
"Anything else you wanna know about yet?" Izaak asked Ona, Ona nodded.
"Where are we, this looks like a village." Ona pointed out, it was Izaaks turn to nod.
"We are at Estrial point." Izaak replied, a smile broke out on Ona's face. All memories of last nights embarrasemt disappeared. Ona knew where she was, she was on the outskirts of the town because she could see the forest from where she was, she was on a mat next to housing.
"Alright anyways i'll start teaching, energy is what all assassin's need to know about." Izaak spoke like he had said this line many times
