Chapter 4: The Effect of Water and White Shirts.

The next few days were the same. Awkward glances between me and Derek and a mixture of half-hearted glares and sheepish smiles from Cameron.

I have come to the conclusion that, I really just don't get boys.

I mean wouldn't it be easier if they just told you what was wrong? No apparently not, because that would just be 'un-manly'.

I am seriously sick of asking Cameron what's wrong and having him say "Nothing. What do you mean? Oh is that the time, I have to go." in a very high pitched voice and running away in the opposite direction of the class he is supposed to go.

But boys are the least important thing on my mind at the moment.

I am really worried about Allie. I seriously do think that she stole my cousin Stacey's wardrobe. For the past week all she has worn is tight fitting clothes and short dresses. I really just want to put a blanket over her or tell her to cover up.

She looks like a whore.

Well it's not really the way that she is dressing that's worrying me, it's the fact that she is changing. It's almost like she was trying to impress someone. Who, I don't know but I know it's someone.

"Kelly where did you put my top? Please do not tell me you wore it." said Renee, breaking my train of thought.

"Of course not Rae-Rae but I did get it dry cleaned. Ta-da!" Kelly exclaimed holding up the shirt.

"KELLY! YOU IDIOT. YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DRY CLEAN IT!" she yelled, holding up the now visibly smaller then it was shirt.

"Oh oops, sorry Rae-Rae." she said frowning slightly.

I decided to tune them out. I always end up doing that. Kelly and Renee fight all the time, it gets so annoying.
