Rain (Sad!)

Denis Kopotun had always loved  Canada with its lovely, long lakes. It was a place where he felt happy.
He was an adorable, loving, coffee drinker with a masculine body and long legs. His friends saw him as an outgoing, determined lover. Once, he had even revived a dying, baby bird. That's the sort of man he was.

Denis walked over to the window and reflected on his sight-worthy surroundings. The rain hammered like a stampede of gazelle.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Alex Orman. Alex was a beautiful angel with cute brown eyes and a British accent. They had met only a month ago.
Denis gulped. He was not prepared for Alex.
As Denis stepped outside and Alex came closer, he could see the teeny-tiny glint in his eye.
Alex gazed with the affection of 2673 angels. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want our love to be real. I can't have this awkward love where we only see each other on weekends. That's not all I want though. I want you. I need you."
Denis looked back, feeling guilty and still fingering the shiny ring Alex had given him yesterday. "Alex, I don't know what to say," he replied.
They looked at each other with depressed feelings, like two wandering, worried wolves lurking at a very pumped up party, which had rock music playing in the background and two lonely people tapping their feet to the beat.
Denis studied Alex's cute eyes and short figure. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Denis in apologetic tones, "but I don't feel the same way, and I never will. I just don't love you Alex."
Alex looked dazed, his eyes suddenly raw like cloudy winter skies, making tension crackle between them.
Denis could actually hear Alex's emotions shatter into 1,000,000 pieces. Then the sad wolf hurried away into the distance. Denis placed the ring on the ground and headed in.
Not even a cup of coffee would help with Denis's guilt tonight.
