Today changed Lindsey's life, and there's no cure for cancer. One normal Monday morning, Lindsey woke up and checked the clock it was 5:40 am. Lindsey wished it was a Saturday, but soonly realized it was a normal Monday. She had her doctors appointment today. It was her first day of school, and she was going in the eighth grade. "Lindsey, time to wake up!" said Mom. "I'm up!" Lindsey replied. She got out of bed, and quickly slipped on some skinny jeans and her Iowa State sweatshirt over over her gray tank top. After she went to the bathroom, washed her face with freezing cold water. Then she applied mascara to her black eyelashes, and her cherry flavored chapstick to her soft lips. Next she brushed and parts her hair, and went downstairs. "Hey sweety!" said Mom hugging Lindsey. "Hey sport where's my hug?" asked Hailey. "Of course I can't forget about my amazing sister!" Lindsey said sarcasticly. "Grab yoour phone Lindsey, and eat your breakfast." said Mom. Lindsey ran upstairs grabbed her cell phone, and went back downstairs. "Hey so you know your in eighth grade now, you need a boyfriend." said Hailey. "Yeah, yeah everyone tells me that I'm pretty, and that they love my thick dark brown hair." replied Lindsey. "Well, sweety when I was your age I thought I was really in love with this boy named Jake, but I was wrong. I got married to your father." said Mom. "Yeah, Hailey datin gis stupid! Boys are stupid, until they turn into men!" agreed Hailey. "Fine, but highschool boys are so dang sexy!" said Hailey while Lindsey scarfed down her breakfast. " Well, Hailey you need to understand that Lindsey is in middle school not highschool." said Mom. "Yeah, yeah whatever." replied Hailey. "Come on Lindsey we need to get to your doctors appointment." said Mom going into the garage, and starting the car. Lindsey followed her mom into the car, and buckled up.
