Finally a tall young woman was very pretty opened the door, she said "Lindsay Walker." her Mom and Lindsey followed the woman down a hallway full of check up rooms, and finally turned right into room 107. There was two chairs, a computer, a sink with soap, paper towels, And cabinets full of equipment. In the corner there was a measuring height stand, and weight scale. "Please step on the scale." asked Sarah. Lindsay followed directions, and stepped onto the scale. When he turned around to see how much she weighed the flashing screen said 99 pounds. "Well, Sarah what's the average weight of a girl who is 13?" Asked Lindsay. "One Hundred and 9 pounds." replied Sarah. "Sarah are you serious? Said mom. "It's okay, just let her eat anything she wants for one week, Lindsay will be fine." Sarah explained. "Okay well can she be tested for cancer?" Asked Mom."Well, I guess so but I will have to call in the doctor." replied Sarah. "Will it cost anything?"Asked Mom. "Yes, $100." replied Sarah. "Okay." Said mom. "Mom, what happens if it is?" Asked Lindsey. "I don't know, Sarah?" Asked Mom. "Well, usually it's leukemia, and overall everything costs $30,000. Just sit down the doctor will be here in a few minutes." said Sarah as she left the room. "Mom that's a lot of money do you know if we could pay that all?"asked Lindsey. "I don't know Lindsey. Said Mom. "I love you mom." Lindsey said hugging her mom so hard that she could hear her heartbeat. "I will love you forever, Lindsey."Said Mom as five minutes went by they were still hugging. Then Lindsey let go and went on her phone, five more minutes went by. "Lindsay?" Said a welcoming voice. Lindsay looked up at the sight of a blonde young woman, with way too much red lipstick on. "Yes?" Lindsey replied. "Can you sit on the table, please?" asked The doctor. Lindsey did as told. "Can you take off your shirt?" asked the doctor. Lindsey again did just as told, she slipped off her shirt. Mom gasped Lindsay had bruises everywhere on her back, and her arms, she was black and blue. "Oh, Lindsey."said Mom."What?" asked Lindsay. As Lindsay turned around she saw and horror her body and how it was all black and blue all over and Lindsey started weeping uncontrollably. I It's okay." the doctors said ad Lindsay vommitted all over the black carpet. "Okay, Lindsey need to look out for yellowing of the skin, and continuing of the vomiting, we also need to take a blood sample for your white blood cell count."Explained the doctor. "Also look at for a high temp. If any of these things occur and you need to rush to the hospital immediately." explained the doctor. "Okay, should she go to school?" Asked Mom. "Yes, but tell the school to look out for all of those symptoms." replied the doctor. "Thank you doctor." Said Mom. "You're welcome, I'm happy to help. My name is Debra Alche."replied the doctor as the nurse came in and took Lindsey's blood sample. Lindsey and Mom went out of the doctors office again holding hands.
