Part 6: Skye's Orientation Part 1

Ruby's P.O.V

Me, Wiess, Yang and Blake sat in the 3rd row of bleechers to watch Skye's orientation. First part of it was to take a lie detectector test, and to show that she was combat ready. After that she would be unleashed into the forest and she would have to pick a chess piece like we had to. Except she'd be on her own. Whatever piece she picked would be the team she'd be on perminatly. She had no way to contact us but we could watch her. We watched as Ozpin hooked up the wires and placed them on her face and arms. She sat down and Ozpin started asking her. "What is your full name. First Middle and Last." "Skylar Juno Silverado." She replied, staring directly into Ozpin's eyes. He nodded. "What is your full aura factor." He asked. "Electricity Manipulation and X factor." She replied, looking away. He looked shocked. "X factor as in....." "Telepathy, Teleportation, Super Speed, ect." She said as she leaned back in her chair. He nodded and smiled slightly. "Why are you here." He asked as he looked at her. She gazed at him and hesitated but answered strongly. "To save, protect and fight for people as a huntress. Also..... To stay protecting and defeat the White Fang." He nodded and turned a page. "What race are you?" Her eyes widened as he asked the final question. "I...... I'm....." She stuttered as her cheeks turned pink. Blake stood up and called out. "Ozpin, let her pass this question please....." Ozpin turned to Blake and they made eye contact...... He nodded. "Very well. Your human." Ozpin said as he stood. Skye glared at Blake and she nodded to say "your welcome" Skye stood and followed Ozpin to the center mat where she would have to show she could fight. I honestly couldn't wait to see her fighting style, she had amazing weapons! "There will be 3 levels. Each level getting harder to defeat. Try your best, if you need to stop just say the safe word, 'Emerald'. There will be a countdown. Get ready." He said as he stepped off the mat and typed a few things. The screen droppe showing Skye's face and stats. Full health, full aura. Skye crouched slightly, putting her left fist out and her right arm back. She flexed her fingers as the door opened, a pack of Beowolves walked out, circling her. She looked around, observing her enemies, then smirked. They began to howl, Skye pulled her cape around leaving a trail of silver mist, then randomly disappeared. After miliseconds she appeared infront of a group, and began devouring them. Punch after punch, kick after kick. Beowolves dropped like flies. Suddenly the pack alpha leaped at here, knocking her off her feet. She easily flipped to her feet, her hands began charging with electricity. She charged and nailed the wolf straight in it's jaw, sending a jolt of electricity through it and making it fly across the room. "Woaaaahhh!!!" I exclaimed, amazed. "Not bad!" Yang said smirking. Next the door opened and a group of Ursa and a Hamelin walked out, the last 2 levels. She ran into the mob, kicking and punching. Every hit she made the enemy jolted back from electicity. The Hamelin charged and hit her with one of it's legs, knocking her to the ground. She got up and clenched her fists, unleashing her blue and silver sword and shield. She ran and flipped, bringing her sword down on it. It was a direct hit, though not enough to take it down. The enemy charged once more and leaped at here, but she blocked it with her shield then speared it in the stomach with her sword, unleashing electricity once more. It dropped, then disinigrated. She clenched her fists and the weapons reformed into cuffs. She rubbed her wrists as she turned to Ozpin who was clapping. I looked around at all the others watching, wide eyed. They all began to clap. Even Wiess. "Amazing...." I thought.
