So...this update came a bit soon because I wanted all you guys to know more about our Arihan and his family. Also, I was super exited to post this bit.
So, hope y'all love it and tell me what you feel about the little interaction between Mr. & Mrs. Karmakar;)
-----------------------------------------------------------

The Karmakar manor was in a celebrative mood. It was lit up extensively by the bright lights from the outside. Moving inside, you could see people were busy rushing about with the various jobs in their hand. They were told by the lady of the house that no stones were to be left unturned to make the event successful.
Some people carried heavy baskets of flowers of different kinds, food items and sweets, while some moved heather and tether with decorative items of all sorts. There were ribbons of different shades, velvet, satins, fabrics and lavish curtains. The men laid down the expensive carpets on the floor. Some dusted about the antique and show pieces. Others placed the culinary pieces in the right order and carried about the plates and vessels. Further into the kitchen, there were some ladies in apron, hair tied up in a bun and saris tucked to their waist preparing several dishes. A little girl stood about the corner watching these ladies. There was a little smile upon her face seeing her mother cook.
A woman draped in a blue sari comes from the hall with a man by her side holding some of the different shades of curtains. She selects them out for him and he proceeds without any delay. She then walks into the kitchen and helps out the other ladies. Indeed, it was her who was at the back of  l such exceptional arrangements. She had been seeing about all the works right from the morning and had that irreplaceable smile on her face throughout.

Pulling out a pan from the drawer, she asks one of the ladies-"Is it ready?"
The other woman pulls out a glass bowl and hands it over to her.
"Madam we can do it. Why do you have to trouble yourself with it?"
Smiling pleasantly, she says-"I know kamala pishi* but, how can I not make his favorite dish for him when he's coming home after a very long time?"
Laughing gently, she transfers the contents of the bowl into the pan. Placing it on the stove, she slowly stirs it. Seeing Mini standing about the corner, she says-"Mini, will you go inform your uncle to send the driver to the airport to get your dada?".
The little girls nods and runs upstairs.

Mr.Soumik enters the scene, a man in his forties, cheerful and tall, sharp facial features and tiny eyes. He was wearing a light blue pastel shirt and black pants. His watch shone as he lifted it up to see the time while calling his wife.
"Asha, I have informed the driver to be at the airport on time. Ari should be here by afternoon. I'll be leaving now or else, I'll be late".
The woman in the blue sari walks towards Soumik, a little bowl in her hand, taking a spoonful of the dish and brings it closer to him.
"I know you will not have breakfast and this is sugar free, enough to give you energy for the day".
Knowing there was no other way round, he accepts it smiling cheerfully.
"Satisfied?"
"For now. Be sure to have your breakfast".
"Yes my dear". and is interrupted by a call. He says a quick goodbye to Asha and rushes out.
Asha receives a notification on her phone and smiles.
"It was delicious:-* "
