Chapter 4 - Break Up

Cole's POV

I woke up hearing a snap of a camera and seeing a bright flash from behind my eyelids. I feel Annabelle stir and snuggle into me. I smile inside. I barely open my eyes and see Dana and Kristie with a camera. I open my eyes. 'You are so dead.' I mouth to them. Dana looks confused, but Kristie's eyes widened. She grabbed Dana's arm and dragged him out of the room.

I looked back at Annabelle. She was curled up with her back against my chest. She looked so peaceful. I really didn't want to wake her up, so I carefully got out of they bed and went to go take a shower.

Before I even got my change of clothes, I heard someone's phone buzzing like crazy. It was Annabelle's and she started to wake up, so I quickly went out if the room to take a shower.

Annabelle's POV

I woke up to my phone buzzing like crazy. I reach over and grab it off the night stand. It's Leo.

8:38 : Hey, I missed u last nite.

8:46 : Where were u.

9:04 : meet me @ da park at 10:00

"CRAP!" I screamed. It was 9:50. I scrambled to get a change of clothes on, no time for a shower. I ran a brush through my hair three times, grabbed my phone, and bolted downstairs.

"Hey Annabelle, where ya goin'?" David said. I ignored him and ran to the park. It was only like a 3 minute run.

Once I got to the park, I saw Leo sitting on the swings.

"Hey Leo, I'm so sorry for last night." I said, out of breath.

"Where were you, I was waiting for you, and you weren't answering your phone." He said, getting angry.

I looked up at the dark sky, praying that this would go well.

"Leo I'm sorry the girls and guys locked me in the basement with Cole all day and when they let us out it was late and we fell asleep by then." I rambled, biting my lip as it started raining. Thank God I have a life proof case.

"WHAT? YOU FELL ASLEEP WITH ANOTHER GUY?" He yelled.

"No Leo it wasn't like that we're just frie-" He cut me off.

"JUST FRIENDS MY ASS! I CANT BELIEVE YOU DID THIS! YOU CHEATED ON ME!" He screamed. I can't believe he's not trusting me.

"You don't understand I-" He cut me off.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?" He yelled. "I loved you Annabelle, and I still do." He said sighing, and digging something out of his pocket.

"Oh, and take this. I was going to give this to you last night, before you bailed and cheated on me." He said, tears welling up in his eyes. I opened the box to see a beautiful diamond ring.

"It's a promise ring, keeping a promise to get married in the future. But I guess that doesn't mean anything to you."

"No Leo, look, it was an accident, I-"
"Save Annabelle. I guess I'll see you around." He said, turning and trudging though the rain towards his car. Tears were streaming down my cheeks, and I fell to my knees and put my head in my hands.
