Chap.10 The Sorting

Hogwarts great hall, The Sorting 

         As I was waiting for my name to be called I looked around to see if I could find the Wesley twins when i finally found there bright red hair. I saw them sitting at the gryffindor table which I hoped I didn't end there because they were way to loud when they cheered whenever someone was sorted there. "granger, Hermione granger" the girl who I hoped would become a good friend of mine was then called up.

          She then walked up with graceful steps almost like she was floating but definitely not as graceful as my dragon she then reached the stool, and sat down. After she did the women Ms.McGonagall lowered that hat down on to her head she sat there for awhile until the hat yelled out "Ravenclaw". After it yelled that she got up, and walked towards a table that was politely clapping for her after few more names were called.

Draco was then called up walking as gracefully as ever, and sat down on top of the stool the women then sat the hat down onto his head. The hat barely touched his head before it yelled out "Slytherin" he then walked towards a table that like the ravenclaw were clapping very politely. Then another few more names were called till she yelled out a name that shock everyone "Potter Harry Potter".

When she yelled that everyone looked at the line we were standing in but no one walked forward. Because she was yelling for a person who doesn't exist a person I used to believe I was. When no one step forward she yelled it out again I could see the one who had killed my mother, and ruined my life.

Starting to get a little mad 'good get mad because your plan will never see the light of day, and one day he will never see the light of the next day'.I thought as Ms.mcgonagol then moved on down the list till she called out another name that shocked everyone "snape, Hadrian snape". After hearing my name being called I walked up as I was walking I looked to my father who had a hidden smile on his face.

    
Once I got up to the stool I then sat down the women then put the hat down onto my head after it was sat down on my head it slipped down a little bit so it covered my eyes. A voice soon spoke into my head "Ah you have a wonderful mind young man" "Thank you, who are you by the way" i thought in my head asking the voice  "I am the sorting hat young Hadrian my name is Alexavier" the voice replied.  "So where to put you you have a thirst for knowledge but ravenclaw is not for you, your kind but not right for hufflepuff, your brave but you think before you act, you also want to prove your self extremely ambitious and cunning".

           "You'd do good in gryffindor" "no no please not there" I thought "Calm down young one there is no need to worry you would also be great in Slytherin you will achieve great this there and find a true family so it better be". He said the part inside my head and said out loud "Slytherin" after that I could finally see again because the hat was taken of my head I then got off of the stool before walking over to my clapping smiling mate.

  
After that the younger Weasley Ronald's name was called he than walked up to the stool once he got there he sat down. looking a little bit nervous but trying hard not to show it he waited to be sorted the hat was then lowered onto his head. The hat or Alexavier like he told me to call him then said out loud  "Ah another Weasley I know just were to put you" he then said  "Gryffindor" he then walked down to the very loud cheering table after that the rest of the students were then sorted. 

    
Once I got to the table, and sat down next to Draco who slipped his hand into mine under the table "Hello you must be Snape I'm Nott, Theodore Nott" a boy sitting across from Draco said. He was also holding out his hand "hello yes I am" i answered shaking his hand "I'm one of Draco's friends it's nice to finally meet his mate" he then said. "Yes it's nice to meet you too you may call Hadrian, and if I may call you Theodore" "yes you may Hadrian" Theodore replied.

The last student was then sorted into Slytherin and sat across from me next to Theodore. "Hi you must be Hadrian Snape right" he asked me "yes you are" "I'm Blaise Zabini Draco I'm Draco's best friend it finally nice to meet you draco wouldn't stop talking about you in his letters" he said. "Ah really, well Blaise it's nice to meet you" I said shaking his hand.

     
We all then head someone clearing there throat very loudly so we all turned our heads towards the teachers table were the headmaster was waiting for everybody's attention. "Welcome back students, and new students" said, and then after a very long and boring speech he then said "now I only have a few last words to say tip tall-a zing". After he said that an amazing feast filled the table "please enjoy the beginning of the year feast everyone" the headmaster said before sitting back down.

     We all then started politely passing the food around once everyone's plate was filled we all began eating and talking to one another. "Hey Draco how was your summer" a girl with a short black bob said completely ignoring me "fine pansy but you should know that because I sent you a letter stating that I found my mate" my dragon then told her. "Oh right I totally forgot Well where is she" the girl pansy then asked, right then I decided to speak up "excuse me but you shouldn't assume someone's mates gender" i told her.

     "Oh and who are you to say that to me" she asked me "I'm Hadrian snape and I'm Draco's mate" i told her. "Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't realize" she said looking a little bit terrified before looking down ashamed soon we continued on with the conversation like nothing happened. I hope we would soon become good friends. Once we were finished eating the food then disappeared and desert then appeared an the table we soon were eating, and one we were all finished it all disappeared.

      The headmaster then stood up again "i hope you all enjoyed your meal but now it's time for bed your head of house will be showing you to your common room" he said. After that four of the teachers two of them I didn't know all got up and walked towards the different tables my dad towards us, and the other teacher I knew Ms.McGonagall walked towards the gryffindor table. "Hello father" I said while walking next to him with Draco "hello Hadrian" he then replied we then walked up to a wall with a snake craved into it.

     "This is the entrance to the common, and dorm room the password is "pure-blood" dad said after he said the password the wall sinked into the ground. Leaving an open doorway leading into our common room after we all walked in my dad then said "this is the reference board the password will be posted up there it changes every week". "Never tell anyone this password this house is your new family and we never betray our family" he said continuing on explaining it all to us first years.

He then told us who the two prefects were before saying this "alright now it's time for everyone to go to bed your names will be on your dorm room door". "How many people will be in the same room together" i asked my father "some will have four to a room and if your lucky you'll only have one other person in your room" he answered. He then told us girls were on the right while boys were on the left before turning around, and left.

Draco and I then turned and walked down the left hallway with Blaise and Theodore following us till him and Theodore stoped at a door with theirs and two others names on it. We then got to our rooms door and luckily for us it only had mine and his name on it probably because we're mates. I then opened the door in side the room was two matching beds, wooden desks with cushioned chairs, and two doors on leads to the bathroom with two showers, and sinks. The other door was a walk-in closet with two sides one for me, and on for him at the foot of our beds were our chests we then started unpacking.

Once we were done we changed into our pjs, and got into Draco's bed snuggling up together saying I love you and goodnight before falling into a wonderful sleep.
