27th of August, 2041.

Conan's P.O.V

"KISS ME!" Were the last words I remembered before I was here, for some odd reason, I forgot everything that happened between then and now.

Sarah stood in front of me, her face blooming with blush, we both just stood there, awkwardly giving each other stares.

Suddenly, Sarah took a step forward, her face a inch from my chest, this made it even more awkward.

Sarah's arms quickly wrapped around me, I tried my best not to react, feeling that would make the scene at hand worse.

"You heard me, right?... Could you please kiss me?" Sarah seemed less demanding this time, maybe because she felt more comfortable, I don't know.

I took a moment to debate obeying or not.

[X] Kiss.
[O] Refuse.

I slowly placed my pointer finger and thumb under Sarah's chin, lifting her entire head to face me.

Sarah unwrapped her arms from around me as her eyes became half-lidded, I paused, making sure Sarah really wanted this.

Sarah nodded.

This was the moment my life changed, I had to be careful about it, but before I could even process anything, our lips were connected.

Sarah was on her tippy toes, trying as hard as possible to stay in touch, but I quickly bent down so she had better reach.

We slowly disconnected our faces, both in shock, I couldn't even predict what was going to happen, but, Sarah was gone.

I saw her foot swipe through the door before it loudly shut, why was I missing so many visuals?

"No." I almost immediately said, Sarah stood back, leaving me my space.

"Don't worry, I understand." She sighed, that was almost like a hard punch to the stomach, she didn't like that I said 'no', but obviously couldn't do anything about it.

Suddenly, I saw the door gently shut, I was left alone in a mainly empty room.

I huffed, maybe I should've kissed her, it was a chance and probably the last one at that.

Oh well.
