(Okay, so just letting you guys know, this story is a FAN-FICTION. I'm a massive fan of What About Tonight. Enjoy :))
I looked at the time on my phone. 6:45pm. Christian's flight landed 5 minutes ago, so he should be here any minute.
Okay, before I go into details, let me fill you in on what I'm telling you about.
I'm Tahnee Bryant. I'm 14, almost 15. I was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and I lived there until I was 13, then I moved to Adelaide, South Australia. I've know my best friend, Christian Anthony, since I was 3 and a half. We first met in Kindergarten, when some kid stole my juice box, so Christian poured his juice box all over this kid. Christian and I both got in trouble for it. At the time, I didn't really know why I was in trouble, but now I realise it was because I was on the floor with laughter.
I was so upset when my parents told me that my family was moving to Adelaide. I mean, I wouldn't of cared if I didn't have Christian.
So, for the past two years, Christian and I have been taking turns in visiting each other.
Okay, back to the story.
I looked at my phone again. 6:47pm.
I was so excited to see Christian, so seven minutes felt like forever.
My mum had gone to get a coffee from one of the coffee places in the airport.
I looked at my phone again. Still 6:47.
All of a sudden, I felt someone tickle my sides.
I shrieked as I turned around. Then I screamed with happiness as I saw Christian standing there.
We pulled each other into a tight hug that lasted for ages. I'm pretty sure people were staring at us but I didn't care, and I know Christian didn't either.
We smiled as we came out of our hug.
"Hi." I laughed.
"Hey." He laughed back.
"How are you?" I asked, as we started walking to the coffee shop that my mum was at.
"Good, I'm glad I'm finally here. You?"
"The same. But I'm so tired. I was to excited to sleep last night, literally, I haven't slept."
"That's really code for 'Uh, I can't wait for him to leave so I'm gonna sleep to make time go faster' isn't it?" Christian joked.
"Oh no, you found out my secret!" I joked back.
"Next time, I'll let that kid pour his juice box on you." Christian joked again.
"I can not believe you remember that!" I exclaimed.
"How could I forget meeting my best friend? And saving your ass."
"Please, I totally could of taken him." I smiled.
"What ever, you would of crashed and burned if it weren't for me, I'm like Super Man."
"Well, if you're superman, who does that make me?"
"The female version of Lex Luthor?" Christian questioned.
"Wasn't he evil?"
"Good so you see my point."
I dropped my jaw and laughed at the same time.
Christian started laughing. "I'm just kidding, you know I love you." He smiled, putting his arm around me.
"I love you too." I smiled, putting my around him.
