We had pancakes for breakfast. And yes, they were amazing.
After breakfast, we all got ready and headed down to the beach.
When we got there, we laid out our towels then we all ran into the water and swam around, dunking and splashing each other. We had a shoulder, water war thing. I was on Luke's shoulders, Christian was on Brock's Shoulder's and Mitchel was on Tyrone's shoulders. Luke, Brock and Tyrone started pushing each other, trying to make each other fall over, while Christian, Mitchel and I were all battling each other, trying to make each other fall off of our partners shoulders.
I pushed Christian and he fell off of Brock's shoulders and into the water. He stood up and pushed his hair out of his eyes.
"Yes! Victory is mine!" I said, raising my arms in the air.
Christian smirked and ran behind Luke and I, grabbing me around the waist and pulled me off of Luke's shoulders, into the water.
"Victory stolen!" Christian laughed.
"WE WIN!" Mitchel exclaimed in excitement as he launched himself off of Tyrone's shoulders.
We got out of the water and I laid on my towel on my stomach. I saw Christian lay down next to me.
"Having a good birthday?" I asked, propping myself up onto one elbow.
"The best!" He smiled, propping himself up onto an elbow aswel.
"Oh, that's a shame." I smirked.
"Why?" Christian smirked back.
"Well, I was going to kiss you, but since your birthday can't get any better..." I trailed off.
"Well, it could get a little better." He smiled, his gorgeous hazel eyes widened.
I giggled and we leaned in.
"Uh uh uh, none of that!" Brock said as he picked me up, I looked over at Christian and I saw that Tyrone had picked him up aswel.
"Beach cricket anyone?" Mitchel exclaimed.
"Yeah!" The other boys exclaimed.
"I think I'll sit this one out." I said, sitting down.
"Come on Tahnee!" Christian said.
"Yeah come on!" Luke added. All the boys nodded and looked at me.
"I suck at this game, and any sport that involves, throwing catching and/or kicking."
"Lucky for you, this game only involves two of those things." Tyrone said.
"Come on, I'll help you." Christian smiled, holding out his hand to me.
I smiled back at him, grabbed his hand and he helped me up.
"No fraternising with the other team!" Mitchel said, grabbing Christian's arm.
"Hey, why can't we be on the same team?" Christian asked.
"Because we said so." Luke laughed.
"You guys just don't want the best players on the same team." I joked. Christian was really good at beach cricket, but I was awful at it.
The boys just laughed.
We played beach cricket for the next half an hour. I hit the ball three times. That's pretty good for me.
It was about 4:30 by the time we got back to Christian's house.
We all took turns at having showers and he got dressed for the party that Christian didn't know he was having. It wasn't gonna be big, just the six of us, plus Christian's parents and his brother, having a barbecue in the back yard.
I put on my black three quater sleeve t-shirt and my peach coloured jeans.
I brushed my hair and clipped my fringe back. I put on a little bit of foundation, some white eye shadow, some mascara and a little bit of lip gloss. I didn't wear make-up often, but this was a special occasion.
I walked down stairs and out the back where Christian's parents were.
"Boys, can you come out here please." Mary called.
All the boys came out the back, which was decorated with streamers and balloons.
"Surprise!" We all yelled and Christian couldn't wipe the smile off his face.
