The morning light saw camp packing up as a whole as the Moralas family finished gathering their things, but when they left the others wouldn't be far behind them- even if they were not to be traveling in the same direction. They would all be leaving the quarry that day, because everyone could see that this place wouldn't stay calm and tranquil after the walkers had come through. Rick had a route planned out that would take them close to the Greene farm, so they could pick up their other people, though he had been able to talk Shane and Morgan into seeing that a fortified place like the out of the way Prison he had 'tentatively planned' as a potential final base would be best to settle in. He hoped that having the Prison in mind kept them from trying to decide to stay on the exposed farm, but he remembered how perfect the farm had seemed the first time around so he held no hopes about having to make them see reason at first and that would cost time and delay them making their home theirs.

Lori hadn't said much about the plans to find something more stable then the Quarry, but then again she really hadn't said much of anything in Rick's direction since Daryl had 'put him down' for the night. Beyond her behavior annoying some of the others in camp in general she was quiet. Perhaps too quiet, but Rick wasn't going to stress over it too much at the moment, He had to make sure everyone was packed and ready to get onto the road. The Greene Farm was a couple of days off from here- and he suspected he would need at least that long to get a plan together that would convince the stubborn old vet to leave his land.

Now that the group had agreed with him about finding a home to live and thrive in, getting the Greene's was his next challenge, with Jacqui's strange check out from reality being a close second. The still unconscious woman wasn't showing any signs that would indicate she was turning, but he'd be damned if she hadn't decided to wake up either. They were going to have to get some food and water into her soon though, or it wouldn't matter if she wasn't turning. She'd die of dehydration or starvation and turn.

Merle had agreed to ride with her in the RV- with her laying on the bed and him ready to put her down if need be, so they had traveling covered for the moment. Rick didn't know if she had just decided that this was it- given there wouldn't be a stop at the CDC for her to decide to stay there and die. Part of him was wondering if she was just fated to die- like Jim and Carol's husband had been. They had saved Amy from her fate- so some death's could obviously be prevented but the cop didn't know how it worked of others still died no matter what they did. This strange redo of life had yet to make sense to him- even if it had given him a second chance with his partner and people. As he finished loading his cruiser Duane and Carl fitted themselves in the back seat with the bedding- looking happy as clams at their choice. Daryl was finishing packing his saddle bags and Morgan was grinning at him like a lunatic.

"Damn Rick, I was sure it would take more to get these folks moving. But I am sure glad to get back on the road. After those walkers coming through and finding out people turn even when not bitten getting somewhere safe is more important then ever. Hell I'm not even going to protest if ya decide to ride with Biker Boy for a bit. The boys have been bugging me about giving Ms. Carol and her girl a spot in the car, and considering the space we have for transport it makes sense. Besides I'm confident you'll be safe with him," Morgan hummed. Rick tried not to roll his eyes at the fact he was being politely told that he no longer had a spot in the cruiser. Daryl hadn't asked him to ride with him, but it would make his hunter happy to have him close by on the journey. Daryl didn't want him out of his sights any longer then he had to be, and Rick could return that sentiment, considering he had actually put the other man down once.

He did snort at Morgan using the boys question as the reason why he was being ousted. Morgan was transparent in pushing him and Daryl together while keeping Shane at bay. The other man's preference in his partner was clear to say the least, even without him having spoken it, too bad the other man didn't know that he didn't have to push them together. But his matchmaking was easing people into accepting the relationship better then anything Rick had thought of so he wouldn't be complaining. He had even more time to look forward to with his lover now, all he had to do was reunite his people, and keep them all alive.
