Chapter Ten

Shayne's POV

I was setting up the chairs and tables when out the corner of my eye I saw her... the love of my life standing in front of the doorway, her stomach bulging out of her crop top.

"Hey Courtney?" I asked "why are you wearing your crop top?"

She looked at me smirking "well I thought since the party is in 2 hours maybe I could get comfy and where a crop top with a cardigan (long sweater pregnant or non-pregnant women where)"

I smiled at her quirky decisions... I love her quirky decisions

"So are you ready to find out the gender of our baby?" I said snapping out of looking at her beautiful eyes

She smiled and nodded... she waddled away to the nursery as I followed her adorable self

"I love this" she smiled

"I love you" I said before kissing her

She smiled through the entire kiss and pulled away for a quick breath

I quickly turned back around and kissed her again and ran out of the room I could hear her following very slowly, I ran downstairs and into the kitchen where I jumped up on the island

"Shayne you know I hate this game... you always win"

"What tell me kiss tag isn't your favorite?"

"Okay it is"

"That's what I thought"

I hopped down and let her kiss me so she could win on her special day.

At the party

Courtney's POV

I opened the window so we could get some fresh air and walked straight back into the nursery where my soon to be baby was to be

I loved everything about it and so did Shayne I rocked in it everyday reading stories to my baby.

As soon as I sat in the chair I heard a knock on the door I got up out of the chair only to find Shayne running towards it

"No no Courtney just go sit back down in the nursery I'll get it"

I smiled knowing how good of a boyfriend I have

"DAMIEN!" Shayne yelled in excitement "your here"

I walked out of the nursery to hug Damien

"Hey there's the queen of the party" he said rubbing my belly

"And soon to be prince or princess"

Shayne smiled "either way I'll be happy" he said as he kissed my cheek

We showed Damien around the house and then to the room he would be staying in since he was kicked out of his apartment that's why he came an hour early
