Saying goodbyes

At 7am, I was leaving the house, with Toby, so that we could get to the airport in time to catch our plane to Hawaii. Ever since I was little, I always dreamed of going to Hawaii, most girls do. A sunny state that is most beaches. Whenever my family went on holiday, when me and Melissa were little, I would always suggest that we should go to Hawaii, but (of course) Melissa would say another destination and my parent would love her idea, we'd go on Melissa's dream holiday and Hawaii would be nothing but a dream. However, when we first started dating I told Toby that story and then when we were planning the honeymoon he brought it up. It was so sweet of him and I really didn't expect it, honestly the dream had been pushed so far away that I'd almost forgotten about it.

Anyway, as me and Toby walked out of the door we were greeted by Toby's dad and Jenna, my parents and Melissa and a bit nearer to the side walk there was Aria, Emily, Ali, Hanna and Caleb. We first of all walked up to Jenna and Toby's dad.

"Hi Spencer, I just wanted to say that you're my sister-in-law now and I just want us to forget all of our differences" Jenna smile grew as she added, "Personally I think I was jealous of you and your friends. You're friendship was so tight and I've never really had that. I'm sorry for showing that in a bad way" I could hear the pain in her voice and suddenly I started to feel sorry for her. I looked at Toby but he was deep in conversation with his dad. I turned back to Jenna and accepted her apology while doing so I think I may have started a small friendship. Toby and his dad finished talking, so we turned and started to walk towards Melissa and my parents.I watched as Toby and Melissa started talking, a feeling of worry swept through my body, but then I decided nothing that Melissa could say would affect mine and Toby's relationship really. The worry came from where Melissa's conversations with my boyfriends usually went. Once when I was dating a guy called Alex from the club, Melissa had told him that I was just dating him to annoy my parents, which was only partly true. I had been wanting to date Alex for a while, but I was worried what my parents would say. Then one day my dad really annoyed me so I really didn't care what he thought anymore so I went to meet up with him and the relationship sparked from that. Anyway I'm with Toby now, I'm happy and I don't think she could ruin this. After my mum told me repeatedly to call her a few times while we were there and my dad telling me to have a good time.

Then we just talked to the girls and Aria explained that Ezra was busy with work so thats why he hadn't come. Toby didn't say anything about his convosation with Melissa so I guess she was just being nice. After talking to them all for about 3 minutes me and toby got into his truck and waved to everyone that had come to meet us as we drove off to the airport.
