A's message worried me, I thought about it all the time and was constantly cautious of the people around me. Me and Toby were walking down the street, heading for a cute little cafe on the corner. I looked up at Toby and as did something pushed passed me, I spun around startled. It was just a kid on his skateboard but even knowing that my heart rate didn't slow down. Toby looked at me, confused.
"Why are you so jumpy?" He asked.
"No reason I was just startled," I reassured him.
"All day you've been jumping if someone walked by you and checking your phone twenty four seven. Spencer what's going on?"
"Ok, I'll tell you but not here."
"Ok follow me."
He grabbed my arm and led me to a alley, I didn't feel any safer but started to tell him anyway.
"The A texts have started again, at first they were random and never followed through, but now they're deathly."
"Wait... deathly? What did they do?"
"The near plane crash yesterday wasn't an accident and after we were saved, I got another text that basically told me that next time we wouldn't be saved."
I could hardly get my word out at this point, tears were forming and I felt so weak. Toby put his arms around me and held me tight. Toby understood me, he knew I obsessed over these thing and loved me even knowing. we went straight to the hotel and watched a movie. About half way through my phone buzzed, Toby was closest to my phone so he picked it up, he quickly looked, sighed and passed it to me. One knew text from a blocked number. I reluctantly opened it,
'Tattle tail! You told Toby and now I can target him too :-). -A'
