High School Soon
Grade 9 will be over soon,
I miss it already,
I admit, I'll be sad when I leave
But I will be ready.
I'm not just sad, I'm excited too.
To get a new start, new school, new friends
More independence, more choices.
Still my heart bends.
Junior High is familiar, compared to
The mysteries of High School
I'll be honest, I'm a little scared,
High school sounds cool,
But is it really?
A bit conflicted,
Sad, scared or excited
At some point all these feelings existed.
Moving on, I realise, worrying will do no good.
It will be a breeze, I think,
At least, it should.

AN: I will be going to high school soon, but I'm actually not that nervous anymore. Mostly just excited. :)
When I wrote this, though I was very nervous and we had to write a ballad on high school, so I wrote this.
