These poems are fragments of a mind in motion-thoughts that tremble, ache, and question. Within these pages lie emotional storms, social echoes, and the quiet contradictions of youth. Each poem is a fissure; each verse, a reflection of the fractures we carry-some visible, others carefully hidden. Anthology of Poetic Dissonance is an attempt to give shape to the unrest within and around us, capturing moments where feeling and thought collide.

1 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 ──────── ₊⋆☽◯☾⋆₊ ──────── Blood Red Roses is a 𝒑𝒐𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒄 memoir of becoming, an 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 of myself, one fragile 𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒍 at a time. This collection traces my journey through the 𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒍𝒆 and 𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒅 years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of 𝒓𝒂𝒘 and 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even 𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒔 of 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚. The title is more than just a name : it is a 𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒓 of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 . Some were 𝒔𝒐𝒇𝒕 like teenage innocence while others were 𝒋𝒂𝒈𝒈𝒆𝒅, 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 with blood, 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 by heartbreak and 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 in reaching. Some were glowing 𝒓𝒆𝒅 under the eternal 𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 of euphoria while others were 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 due to the 𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 of insecurity and 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒔 of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming. Café Tearspresso is the first volume of a collection of poetry from thirteen artists and poets, all in their twenties, and the debut work of aspiring author, M. Stuart Asbridge. The collection gives a snapshot into the minds and thoughts of the artists as they observe the world around them, and put those observations to text. The poetry follows a universal theme of human experience and emotional expression from the different perspectives taken on by the poets, while centering around unnamed characters as they traverse life, loss, grief, trauma, love, and redemption in the 2010's. An anthology of poetry I have written. As a Professional Writing student, I am hoping to improve my poetry skills! This collection will be pretty much track my progress in improving. Any constructive criticism is welcome! This is meant to replace "My Attempts at Poetry", which personally makes me cringe reading those poems. This is just a composition of poetry and random thoughts I have. I write when my feelings or thoughts overwhelm me or if I just need a source of outlet. My writing is about all the ups and downs I have experienced in life so far, all the friends I've lost, all the friends I've gained, all the boys who once mattered, all the failures and tough days I've gotten through. I hope that my writing is relatable to people and that they find comfort in knowing that they are not alone. People may not always understand you but there are people who do. I want Exulansis to be a place for you, where you can share anything and feel comfortable and not judged but understood and loved.

6th Poetry Anthology l have always wanted my 6th anthology to mirror my current life: dark, desolate, and filled with despair. It's a portrayal of wandering alone in an abandoned town, where escape is elusive, and the place threatens to consume you.
