This collection traces my journey through the fragile and tangled years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of raw and unfiltered moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even hints of clarity. The title is more than just a name : it is a metaphor of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal unfolding . Some were soft like teenage innocence while others were jagged, stained with blood, weathered by heartbreak and resilient in reaching. Some were glowing red under the eternal sunlight of euphoria while others were withered due to the droughts of insecurity and floods of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming. An anthology of poetry I have written. As a Professional Writing student, I am hoping to improve my poetry skills! This collection will be pretty much track my progress in improving. Any constructive criticism is welcome! This is meant to replace "My Attempts at Poetry", which personally makes me cringe reading those poems. I'll reupload a couple poems from there into this one, but for the most part I'll be writing brand new poems.

My poetry collection is a reflection of my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Each poem explores different themes such as love, loneliness, healing, faith, identity, and the quiet moments that shape who we are. Some poems were written during difficult times, others during moments of hope and growth. Together, they tell pieces of my story and the way I see the world.
