This collection traces my journey through the fragile and tangled years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of raw and unfiltered moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even hints of clarity. The title is more than just a name : it is a metaphor of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal unfolding . Some were soft like teenage innocence while others were jagged, stained with blood, weathered by heartbreak and resilient in reaching. Some were glowing red under the eternal sunlight of euphoria while others were withered due to the droughts of insecurity and floods of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming. Welcome to the Nonentity of Epopee, a chaparral of unwieldy euphemism where the manifold cerebral meets the abyss of the mind. Within these 25 hectic runes, an architect of shadows explores the dissonance of being a side character in a world of luminous protagonists. im·ag·i·na·tion /iˌmajəˈnāSH(ə)n/ noun the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. Otherwise known as "Musings of the Balladeer." This is an anthology of poetry I've written over the course of what is now many years of my life; beginning in my freshman year of high school, back when I was relatively new to poetry, and continuing even to this day. What began as a school assignment expanded into a practice of emotional expression - exploring my thoughts of the world, my feelings toward those around me, and continually redefining "the self." I do not plan on returning to edit anything I've posted (to an insane degree, anyways); keeping it captured like time in a bottle. They are a glimpse into a different time - a different world - and I wouldn't have it any other way. Feel free to interpret as you will.

i don't write very often but it's nice to share some stuff, so don't go raising your expectations. some poetry comes from experiences and feelings and other pieces have nothing to do with me at all; that's the beauty of words.

My poetry collection Pt. 2 is a continuation of my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Each poem explores themes like love, loneliness, healing, faith, identity, and the quiet moments that shape who we are. Some poems were written during difficult times, others during moments of hope and growth. Together, they tell more pieces of my story and the way I see the world. All poems in this collection are @AleighaMarieXOXO original works. No copying or plagiarism is acceptable. This collection is still growing, and I continue to add new poems as inspiration strikes. If even one poem helps someone feel understood or less alone, then sharing my words is more than worth it.
