This collection traces my journey through the fragile and tangled years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of raw and unfiltered moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even hints of clarity. The title is more than just a name : it is a metaphor of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal unfolding . Some were soft like teenage innocence while others were jagged, stained with blood, weathered by heartbreak and resilient in reaching. Some were glowing red under the eternal sunlight of euphoria while others were withered due to the droughts of insecurity and floods of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming. i don't write very often but it's nice to share some stuff, so don't go raising your expectations. some poetry comes from experiences and feelings and other pieces have nothing to do with me at all; that's the beauty of words.

Romance, hurt, and a hole in the gut. 16 personal poems of mine that nobody has seen, and are based off of my own hurt and personal experiences. Interpret them how you wish. I write in my head a lot of the time, I say tricky things that hardly make sense which is partly why poetry is so hard to write down. I sit and stare at the words I have written trying to figure out how to make it readable, but the thing I like is that it's the words in poetry that sometimes shifts a perspective, not just the meaning behind it. The choice of words or what order they're in, not quite grasping what any of it could possibly mean so you can keep that poem for yourself to interpret it as you wish. I love it. It's using words in the most peculiar way, and twisting them so they melt down into a feeling rather than something you read.

This collection of poems is for those that stay up at night, mind whirring with thoughts, those that fight to stay at the surface when reality drowns them. An anthology of my poetry. Poetry is a vector for the mind to spin tales in wistful and gorgeous ways. Making good use of verse and rhyme schematics is an endeavour well-rewarded by the final product; I wish to share my beautifully malformed explosions of emotions, and in part I hope to inspire others to take similar care of their mind's expression utilising literature.

Each poem explores different themes such as love, loneliness, healing, faith, identity, and the quiet moments that shape who we are. Some poems were written during difficult times, others during moments of hope and growth. Together, they tell pieces of my story and the way I see the world.
