This collection traces my journey through the fragile and tangled years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of raw and unfiltered moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even hints of clarity. The title is more than just a name : it is a metaphor of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal unfolding . Some were soft like teenage innocence while others were jagged, stained with blood, weathered by heartbreak and resilient in reaching. Some were glowing red under the eternal sunlight of euphoria while others were withered due to the droughts of insecurity and floods of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming. 6th Poetry Anthology l have always wanted my 6th anthology to mirror my current life: dark, desolate, and filled with despair. It's a portrayal of wandering alone in an abandoned town, where escape is elusive, and the place threatens to consume you. im·ag·i·na·tion /iˌmajəˈnāSH(ə)n/ noun the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. Otherwise known as "Musings of the Balladeer." This is an anthology of poetry I've written over the course of what is now many years of my life; beginning in my freshman year of high school, back when I was relatively new to poetry, and continuing even to this day. What began as a school assignment expanded into a practice of emotional expression - exploring my thoughts of the world, my feelings toward those around me, and continually redefining "the self." I do not plan on returning to edit anything I've posted (to an insane degree, anyways); keeping it captured like time in a bottle. They are a glimpse into a different time - a different world - and I wouldn't have it any other way. Feel free to interpret as you will.

Café Tearspresso is the first volume of a collection of poetry from thirteen artists and poets, all in their twenties, and the debut work of aspiring author, M. Stuart Asbridge. The collection gives a snapshot into the minds and thoughts of the artists as they observe the world around them, and put those observations to text. The poetry follows a universal theme of human experience and emotional expression from the different perspectives taken on by the poets, while centering around unnamed characters as they traverse life, loss, grief, trauma, love, and redemption in the 2010's. An anthology of my poetry. Poetry is a vector for the mind to spin tales in wistful and gorgeous ways. Making good use of verse and rhyme schematics is an endeavour well-rewarded by the final product; I wish to share my beautifully malformed explosions of emotions, and in part I hope to inspire others to take similar care of their mind's expression utilising literature.
