*millie pov*

We walked through the park that was near my house until we slowly came upon a beautifully lit clearing with a shining pond in the center. I was star struck.

Finn turned around with a small smile on his face, "Do you like it?" He asked sounds slightly nervous. "Oh my gosh Finn, it's.... amazing!" I gushed as I saw a blinding smile creep on to his face. "Thank god," he gasped, "I was worried you weren't going to like it." "Of course I love it, but don't mind me asking, why did you take me here?" I asked curious. "Well," he started nervously scratching the back of his neck, "this is where I go when I am stressed or need to think or be peaceful." I smiled at the thought of him bringing me to the place where he thinks when he's is the new one in town and doesn't know his way per say around  Hawkins. "I think that is very sweet." I replied with a smile.

He then chuckled and then lead me over to a big flat rock near the water. "Lay down." He told me, I looked at him confused. "Just trust me." He said with a giggle. I did as I was told and payed down feeling the snow chill me through my down coat. He the proceeded to lay down directly next to me. "Look up." He said and I what I saw was one I will never forget.

Fluffy snowflakes were falling gracefully as bright stars twinkled brightly over our heads. I was speechless. "It's beautiful right?" He stated as I felt his eyes travel the map of my face. All I could do was nod, not able to remove my eyes from the glorious sight. We sat in comfortable silence for what seemed like a few minutes. Out of my peripheral vision I saw Finn check his watch. "Holy shit Millie it's 1 in the morning!" He said panicking. I sat up immediately alarmed, "What! I have to get home fast!"

We got up and sprinted to the the street. "Thank you so much for tonight I had a lot of fun..." I rambled until I was interrupted by something warm enveloping my whole body. Finn's hug felt like everything good in this world was layed out and right in front of me. I hugged back and we stayed that way until he pulled back and stared into my eyes. A smile had reached my lips and I saw him replicate it on his own. "I'll walk you home." He said as I started leading him in that direction.

~a few moments later~

We arrived at my small yellow home. "This is it," I said as I turned to look at him, "thank you for tonight. This has been the most fun I've had in a long long LONG time." I said. He chuckled quietly. "Maybe we can do again sometime," he replied as his face moved towards mine, his hand brushed a piece of my short brown hair away from my eyes, "Goodnight Mills." I turned into a blushing mess and quickly retreated to my front steps, "I'll get you back for that Puppysoft!" I said with a giggle. He laughed at me teasingly, "We'll see Mills."  I watched the boy walk away from my house and into the dark streets of Hawkins. That went amazing! Now I only had one problem..... my parents.
