Kara used her super speed to rush around the house.
"Rao! Where are my glasses I'm going to be late for the dance!" Kara accidentally knocks into Alex sending her flying into the wall with a thud. Kara stops at the sound of Alex's groaning.
"Oh Rao! I'm sooooo sorry Alex! Here let me help" She says holding out a hand and brushing the dust of her suit. Alex pats down the pockets in Kara's blue and silver dress. She pulls out a pair of glasses and hands them the Kara.
"Here you go, dummy." Kara huffs, puts on her glasses, and crosses her arms.
"I'm not a dummy you're just an idiot." Alex rolls her eyes
"Yeah I'm the idiot, you're the one who didn't see that Lena Luthor was in love with you for like six months." Kara scoffs and rolls her eyes
"You were in the closet sooooo long there were hangers in your hair."
"No, that's not true."
"Lil Danvers has a point Danvers." Maggie says walking to the top of the stairs. Maggie is wearing a navy blue suit with blue button up shirt and a light grey tie.

Alex stood there lost for words at the sight of Maggie. Her light brown hair was pulled back into a pony tail and she was wearing a light shade of pink lipstick.
"Wow." Alex muttered under her breath making Maggie smile.
"Come on Danvers, you're embarrassing." Maggie says grabbing Alex by the arm and dragging her down stairs. Kara finishes getting dressed and walks down stairs. She curled her hair and it is resting gently on her shoulders and Alex had her put on some light lipstick. "Look at little DAMNvers!" Maggie yells from the bottom of the stairs, making Kara blush.

"Maggie shut up your an idiot. Kara you look very nice." Alex says taking Maggie's arm and the three of them walk out to the car where Eliza is waiting.
"Took you long enough, and I thought you two to longer when you were younger." Eliza says laughing. The three of them file into the car and Eliza drives them to the school. As soon as they pull up they can hear the loud music blaring. "Alright girls be safe and don't do anything stupid." Eliza yells as they run out to the gym. Maggie and Alex run off somewhere and Kara paces back and forth in the hallway where she and Lena had agreed to meet.
She looks down at her watch.
Ten minutes turn into twenty
Twenty to thirty
Thirty to an hour.
She leans up against the lockers and lets herself slide down to the floor. She hears laughter and she looks up to see Maggie and Alex stumbling through the hallway. Kara puts her head in her hands and she hears the laughter stop.
"Kara?" Maggie asks walking closer to her.
"Leave me alone." She says quietly. Alex sits next to her.
"Where's Lena? Did she come?" Kara remains silent and shakes her head. Maggie pigs and arm around her and Kara leans on her shoulder and starts crying.
"I'm sorry she didn't come kid." Maggie says rubbing Kara's shoulder. Then they hear rushed shuffling and someone crashes into the lockers. Lena appears around the corner. Her face is red her bun is all messed up, she is in a black dress and black flats.
"Kara I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to take this long, I promise I have a good explanation." Lena says out of breath. Alex stands up leaving Maggie and Kara on the floor.
"You leave my kid sister waiting here for an hour and you think she'll just forgive you. She thought you stood her up. You made her feel lke she wasn't good enough, that you had run off into the arms of some Prince Charming. But, what was I expecting you to do, you are...." Lena cuts her off.
"A Luthor. I know what I am, I know what runs on my veins. I...I need...to talk to Kara." Lena know has tears streaming down her cheeks. Maggie and Alex look at each other and they sit waiting for Lena to talk to Kara. "Alone." They both leave, reluctant to leave Kara with Lena. Once they are alone Lena sits down next to Kara smoothing out her dress. "Kara I'm...."
"Lena don't apologize. I'm not worth it. You're wasting you're breath." Lena looks at Kara in disbelief.
"Not worth it? A waste of my breath?" Lena scoffs. "You don't get to decide if your worth it to me or not, you don't get to tell me how I use my breaths. And you Kara Danvers, you are worth it. You are an amazing, kind, loving, hella smart, courageous person, so I don't know why you think that you aren't worth it." Kara stays silent. Lena gets up smooths her hair and dress and holds out a hand waiting for Kara to grab it. When Kara doesn't Lena pushes her up and drags her down the hall.
"Lena where are we going, cuz I don't want to go where ever it is your taking me." Kara huffs.
"I'm giving you my excuse." Lens says continuing to drag Kara, now up several flights of stars. They pass a sign with a red arrow pointing to the right that says ROOF.
"The roof?!? Why do we need to go to the roof for you to tell me your......" Kara's mouth drops when Lena opens the door to the roof. Two chairs sit on opposite sides of a small table. A line of red rose pedals lead to the tables. Candles sit in the middle of the table on top of a red table cloth. Two plates are set up and a silver cart with what Kara is assuming is food on it, sits next to the table.
"I know it's not......." Kara cuts Lena off by crashing her lips against Lena's. Kara pushes Lena up against the door. But something didn't feel right. She tilted her head just a little, there. Lena pulled away.
"So is this your way of telling me your not mad." Kara chuckles and it sends shivers down Lena's spine. She places a soft kiss to her lips.
"So that's a yes." Lens says smiling. Lena leads Kara to the table and lifts the lid off the tray of food.
"Potstickers and Chinese?!?!?" Lena laughs. The sit down and enjoy there food. They stay there for a while and talk amongst each other. When Lena leaves to go to the bathroom Kara walks to the edge of the roof and sits down, looking up at stars. When Lena opens the door she sees Kara by the edge and immediately rushes over.
"Lena it's okay, I'm not doing anything stupid. Here sit next to me." Kara says. Lena slowly lowers her down to the edge. She slips a little but Kara catches her by putting an arm around her waist and pulling her closer. "Don't worry Ive got you." Lena rests her head on Kara's shoulder and Kara listens closely to Lena's calm heart beat.
