Flower Crowns ~ Sanders Sides x Reader

You approach Patton's bedroom door and quickly grab his crown from your backpack. The crown had white roses with the ends of each petal fade into a light blue color and with smaller roses that have a darker shade of blue to them.

While getting Patton's gift, you pause for a moment to hear soft lofi hip-hop playing through the door. (Play the song above, next to the pic of the flower crown)

He likes to play lofi hip-hop in his room, and he usually likes to start with this song first whenever he's in a good mood. You smile knowing that Patton's fine and how excited he would be when you give him his crown.

Once you grab the crown from your bag, you decide to use the same technique you did with Logan. You hide the crown behind your back and knock the door...

"Just a minute, kiddo!" He lower the volume of the music and soon opens the door.

"Y/N!" He gasp as he gives you a quick but loving hug. "Heya, Pat! Great to see you," you pat(ton lol) him on his back before he lets you go. "Great to see you too!" He notices that you have your hands behind your back. "What do you have there, kiddo?" He asks.

"Er, well," you explain. "It's a gift for you thanking you for being both a good friend and, well, a dad to me." He brings his hands up to hide his blushing cheeks, "Awww! Y/N, you shouldn't have!" You give a small chuckle, "Well, I need you to close your eyes for a sec."

He did as he was told to do with a giddy smile on his face. You take the crown out and attempt to put it on his head, but you were kinda...er, well, smol.

"Pat, could you kneel down for a sec?"
"Okay," he kneeled down while can't help but give a small chuckle.

You place the crown on his head and ruffle some parts here and there. You let him know that he can open his eyes now. As soon as he opened them, he rush to the inside of his room, with you trailing behind, to the body length mirror that he painted pink clouds on the top corners with a faint rainbow and tiny dogs and cats on the bottom.

You look around his room really quick as Patton looks at himself in the mirror. His room holds the pastel aesthetic quite well. His desk was covered in paper and coloring stencils. Hanging above his desk were drawings and other things that either he or the other sides made for him. On the other corner was his bed covered with a very light blue, fuzzy blanket. Two small pillows of a cat and dog were next to his pillow. Hanging over his bed were some more drawings, a couple of posters, and a rainbow flag.

You snap out your trance as you look back at Patton.

He stared at the mirror in awe; pretty much with stars in his eyes. "Awwww!" He turns to you with a big smile on his face and runs over to you to hug you. He picks you off the ground and spins you around.

"Oh my goodness, Y/N! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it-!"
"Okay, Patton! You're welcome! Now put me down!" You laugh as he sets you down and looks at you with eyes of child-like wonder and still holding the same smile.

"Okay, Pat. I have one thing to ask you," You said. "Yes? What is it?" He said as he tilts his head.

"Do you know where Roman is?"
"Ah..." he pauses for a moment to think. "He might still be in his room."

"Okay. Thank you, Patton!" You turn around to be then tackled by another hug. "One more for the road, kiddo!" He squeezes you as you hug him back. "Aww, thank you, Patton!" You guys hug each other for a moment, then he lets go.

"Tell Roman I said hi! Oh, and give him a hug from me!"
"M'kay, I will!"

You wave each other bye as you shut the door behind you and retrieve your bag and start walking to the prince's room.
