Tears. That's all that ever came out of the blonde girl's eyes when the rumor soon began to spread. She felt like her whole world had turned upside down. It was horrible. She was only thirteen back then when the rumor first started. Now even though it's been three years, she still feels like it was just yesterday.
Over the years, she had finally gotten used to the idea of her actually being a psycho. As she realized that, she promised herself to never shed another tear again.
--
The blonde girl in pigtails found herself surrounded in nothing but pure blackness. No matter how far she kept on walking, she wasn't able to find an end.
A rustling suddenly came for behind her, making her turn around. Bubbles widened her eyes at what was in front of her; a person in a brown and red cloak.
"W-Who are you?" Bubbles stuttered out.
The figure let out a humorous laugh, "That's something you need to find out yourself, sweetheart."
Bubbles held her breath, somewhat both flattered and uncomfortable by the nickname. She wasn't used to being called something other than her own name and of course. . . a psycho.
"T-Then. . . Can you please tell me where I am and how I can get back home?" She asked, hopeful.
"Child, this is a dream." The mysterious figure simply answered. "This is to help you realize who you really are."
Confused, Bubbles asked, "A dream?"
The figure nodded.
Bubbles too nodded, finally understanding. "And you said this is to help me realize who I am?"
The cloaked figure shook it's head, "Not who you are, but who you really are." It said. "Remember what I told you, Bubbles. I must go now. . . but this is not the last time we'll be seeing each other, that's for sure."
With that, it disappeared, causing a white light to suddenly appear.
Bubbles slowly began to open her eyes, being met by the calming sunlight of the sun, that was reflecting itself on the window. Some would've think that this is a sign for a beautiful day, which is true, just not in Bubbles's case.
She sighed. Another one of her terrible days at school. . . It didn't always used to be like this though. Back when she was thirteen, way before the rumor began, she was known as the most Popular girl at school. Day after day, her locker would be filled with love letters from her secret admirers, friends, and even teachers.
In a way, Bubbles was glad she didn't have to deal with that stuff anymore but. . . she had to admit, she sort of missed it.
Now her life was completely different.
Her past friends weren't her friends anymore. She didn't have anyone but her sisters to hang out at school with. It was tough getting used to at first, but over the years she managed to get used to it.
--
Just as Bubbles finished tying up her hair into her two usual pigtails, there was a nock at her door. She knew it had to either be her two sisters, Blossom and Buttercup, or her dad, Professor John Utonium. She called out a soft, "Come in."
Her mind was still focused on that dream she had. 'Just who was that person in that cloak?'
"Morning Bubbles! Buttercup and I are all ready to go. I finally was able to wake her up today!" A voice said making her snap out her thoughts. Turns out it was Blossom, her older sister, who had nocked on the door. "Are we ready to go?"
Bubbles smiled a little and nodded.
Blossom had always been there for her, along with Buttercup of course. Blossom was very sharp and smart. She was perfect at almost everything she did. Bubbles envied that from her. She wished she was just like Blossom; beautiful, smart, perfect, talented, and so on. She could think of millions of things Blossom had while she didn't.
Then there was her other sister, Buttercup. In a way, Buttercup was also perfect in her own way. She was really good at sports; a great athlete. She was popular among all the soccer players at their school and was even declared the captain.
Bubbles had came with a conclusion; both of her sisters were perfect in their own way. She used to be perfect as well but. . . all of that changed that one day.
That one day that Bubbles wished to forget with all her might.
That one day.
