IT WAS release day. I'd been in L.A. for three months now working my ass off on these songs. I pitched them to my higher ups and the gave me the all clear to release a single. It was scary. Every second I wasn't working I was at Alex and Dom's, David's, Zane's or anyone else's house. It was a crazy life I was living. Watching everyone do stupid things for Davids vlogs but never being in any. I wanted to give my music a fair chance by myself with out the help of Davids platform. He respected my decision.

Me and David are really close friends and my crush for him grows each day. Everyone but David knows it and I want to keep it that way. I don't remember the feeling of rejection, I'd like to keep it that way, although every time I'm alone with Alex he seems to enjoy teasing me about it.

'Alright so, we will release the song in a few hours then on Monday we have you booked in at a few local radio stations for some minor promo.' Adam says. The last two weeks before this songs release have been intense. Photoshoots for the single cover, photoshoots for the album if all gos well. My record label have faith in me so, it keeps me hopeful.

'Okay so the songs being released at two? Am I correct?' I check my phone for the time, it's midday. Derek and Adam both nod simultaneously.

'Alright! Time to go show my friends!' I giggle nervously.

I've gotten close with Derek and Adam over the last three months, they're both like father figures and know the inner workings of my brain thanks to my songs, they also know I have yet to show my newfound friends my music.

'They'll love it, Aspen' Derek smiles and Adam nods in agreeance. I bid them my farewells and head out of the studio. The drive to Davids house is long and nerve-wracking as I know everyone will be waiting. Because not only David and Zane had to be the first to hear, they all had too. So we agreed to meet at Davids and have a little listening party.
