Cole walked me home that day of school cause he wanted to make sure Erika didn't hurt me anymore. Before at school I told him I was fine and could walk home fine but he said "no, I will not let anything else happen to you."
And I felt butterflies when he said that. While we were walking home we were talking about our favorite classes in school.
We got to my house and right when we walked in, my dad was standing there with his arms crossed and he looked a little angry. Then I said "hey Dad,ummmm this is Cole, he's one of my friends." And he said "ok, and how did you get that bruise, did he give it to you?"
And he pointed to Cole. Then I was really shocked and said "oh gosh no, no, Cole is super nice, he would never do this to me, he actually saved me from Erika."
And he said "who's Erika?" And I said "she's kind of the school's popular girl and also the bully at the same time." And Dad nodded. Then he shook Cole's hand.
Then whispered something in his ear. Me and Cole walked up the stairs to my room when my dad said "no funny business ok?" And we both nodded. I laid on my bed and Cole sat on my desk chair.
It was silent for a while, then I asked "so what did my dad whisper to you?" And Cole looked at me and said "he said that if we are out I have to protect you." And I nodded.
