Demi P.O.V

I was super excited to see my sisters again, it had been a long time, since I was on tour in Europe.

I heard the door slam shut, and Lauren shout, "Mail is on the table!!!" and she quickly headed for the stairs.

"Hey, I'm not feeling the love?" I called out, in a hurt tone. She snapped her head around to see me.

"DEMI!!!"She shouted excitingly, running into my arms. I wrapped my arms around her waist tightly and protectively, all of a sudden, my blood turned cold.

I could feel her bones, and I could feel how tiny she was, and it was shocking to me. No, she can't have a eating disorder, can she?

Please, not Lauren, she's such a happy teenager. "Hey, Babygirl," I told her.

Her hood fell down and my eyes widened in surprise at the sight of her bruised cheek and lip. "What happened to you, baby?" I asked, reaching out to touch her.

"Nothing," She replied quickly, as if she were hiding something.

"Just ran into a cabinent, you know, clumsy me," She said before dashing off to her room, leaving me there thinking about her behavior.

She was acting strangely, which was making me suspicious. Could she be going through the same exact troubles I had?

I couldn't believe Demi just saw my bruises, and I can't believe I just lied to my big sister.  I know I can tell her anything, because she's my sister, but I just can't. I don't want her to worry about a burden and failure like me, and cause her to go into relapse.

I walked into the bathroom and I pulled out my blade, my best friend, the only one who really understands me. I pressed the metal against my wrists and sliced aggressively, leaving behind about 30 new scars, bleeding heavily. I wrapped towels around my wrists, and moved down to my thighs, and left about 25 news scars on each leg, before there was a knock at my door.

"Hey, baby girl, can I come in?" Demi asked.

I froze. 'Shit, Demi's here,' I thought to myself. I got to hide these scars and fast.

"Just a second, I'll be right there," I replied, before rushing to hide my blade, and clean the blood off of my skin and the floor.

I grabbed a dark colored hoody, which I always left in the bathroom, and threw it over me to cover up my painful secrets and past.

I went up to Lauren's room shortly after I saw her bruises. I had to confront her about them; the bruises couldn't possibly match up to running into a cabinet. They looked like someone had beat her up, which is unacceptable, especially when my little sister is involved.

"Hey, baby girl, can I come in?" I asked.

There was a short pause in between. "Just a second, I'll be there," She called back.

I could hear the sound of her rushing around, pulling a drawer open and closing it. My stomach dropped. No, she couldn't have been. Could she?

'Don't jump into conclusions, Demi, you have to see it to believe it,' I scolded myself for thinking that, but the terrible feeling never left my stomach.

The door opened, and Lauren peaked up at me.

"Hey, Demi, " She said, her voice raspy, and her eyes puffy and red.

"Baby girl, what's wrong?" I asked, concerned.

"Nothing... I'm fine," She stuttered, looking away.

I knew she was lying to me, so I pushed her gently into her room, locking the door behind me, and looked into her eyes.

"Seriously, Lauren, what's wrong?" I asked again. "I know that your lying, so please just tell me the truth,"

Lauren shook her head sadly, and tears started to fall down rapidly.

She burst into tears, and she threw herself at me, wrapping her arms around my waist  and kept a tight hold on me.

I was taken back at first, but I immediately started to comfort her, stroking her hair and whispering to her that everything was going to be okay.

The one thing I knew that would calm her down was my singing, so I started to sing 'Nightingale' to her and it instantly started to work on her, the tears drying out, and her breathing becoming steadier.

After she was finally calmed down, I looked down at her, holding her tightly in my arms.

Lauren finally looked up at me and sighed.

"Okay, I'll tell you,"
