Mook hated the spring time. He enjoyed flowers and the sun, but he hated the rain. It was hard to hide his secret of being a sea serpent when it rained, harder now that he was away from home. Luckily for him, it never rained during the weeks of his classes. However, as luck would have it, it was going to rain the entire week before Spring Break. Frustrated, Mook in his dorm the entire week with only Dante as his company. Gang Ho volunteered to go take notes from their classes and bring them to them everyday. It felt nice knowing he was trying to help during this frustrating time.

"I'll be back after classes. You two don't have too much fun without me."

Mook just groaned as Gang Ho left the dorm. He didn't want to be cooped up in this room! Dante was trying to get Mook in a good mood, but to no avail. Mook wanted to leave his room very badly. He wanted to sit class and take notes. He wanted to buy snacks and eat at the cafe. He wanted to see Aru and hear her laugh while her sweet smile formed on her face. He hadn't seen her since the rain started, and his mood was beginning to deteriorate because of it. He feared that she would begin to suspect that he was sick again. He wished that the rain would quickly go away at last so that he could finally leave the room.

Aru was worried sick. Mook had not been showing up to classes all week! She tried reasoning with herself, but nothing worked. He wouldn't even show up to their hideout to at least leave a message for her. Even Dante has been missing class all week. She noticed that Gang Ho showed up to the classes that she had Mook and Dante in. She tried asking him about the two boys, but he would always change the subject before she could finish her question. Annoyed by the fact that she was having her question ignored, she decided that she would visit the dorm room after her classes. It was the final day before spring break, so she decided that it was now or never.

Gunn was sweet. He may have been focused on posting a photo every hour or so, but he always made time to listen to Aru's problems. He just seemed to actually listen and comfort her. Whether they were out taking pictures or editing them, he always let her know that he was listening when she needed to vent to someone. Gunn had been really helpful this past week, especially since Aru felt forgotten. Mook and Dante weren't around, and Gang Ho hardly had time for her with all the notes he had been taking. Sure Xena and Susu were there for her, but she didn't have them in many classes. Being able to constantly talk to someone was comforting for her. It was the support she needed at the moment, especially with Mook being gone.

"I'll walk you to your dorm Aru. I brought my umbrella, so you can stay dry."

Aru looked up and saw Gunn standing by her seat. That's when she realized that class had finally ended. She smiled, replying as she stood up.

"Actually, I'll join you to your dorm. I need to check on Mook anyways, he may be sick."

Gunn helped Aru gather her things into her bag and made sure all her things were secured. Once they were certain that their things would stay dry, the two made their way down the stairs. Aru waited for Gunn to open his umbrella so that she could join him underneath the small shelter. They two chatted as they walked to the male dorms, keeping a respectable distance from each other. It didn't take long before they reached the male dorms. As they began walking up the stairs, a boy with a backwards hat shouted to Gunn and waved him over, shouting a greeting to Aru when he noticed the small girl with him. Aru urged him to go talk to his friend as she made her way up the stairs on her own.

Aru was reminded that she hated stairs. Who in their right mind thought that stairs would be easy to climb?! They had to have been invented to use as punishment for those who climbed them, she was convinced of it. She was exhausted when she finally reached the floor. She took a moment to catch her breath before making her way to the door of the dorm. When she reached it, she knocked with a smile on her face.

"Mook? Dante? It me, Aru!"

She heard shuffling and things being knocked over in a hurry.

"Aru? What are you doing here?"

It was Dante who spoke. She was hoping Moon would respond, but at least she knew that Dante was safe.

"I came to check on you guys. Are you doing okay? Is Mook okay?"

"Uh...yeah...yeah, we're fine."

He hesitated. His hesitation worried her even more.

"Are you sure? Where's Mook?"

As she reached to open the door, she was stopped by a single phrase.

"Go away."

It was Mook's voice, but it didn't have the sweetness and calmness that it usually did in it.

"Mook? What's going on?"

"I...I don't want to see you. Go away!"

"Mook, what-"

"I said go."

Aru felt her heart ache as she took a step away from the door, her eyes watering up. Why was Mook being like this? She bumped into someone and saw Gang Ho standing there, confused. His confusion turned into concern as he saw her tears. Before he could say anything, however, she pushed past him and rushed down the stairs. She pushed past Gunn and his friend as she ran out of the male dormitories. She ran in the rain for a while before slumping against a tree. She began to quiver as Mook's words echoed in her mind.

She then began to cry her heart out, her tears camouflaged by the rain drops hitting her face.
