Excitement ran through your body as you awaited Justin's arrival. You ran a hand over your stomach slowly, not even coming to terms with the fact that someone you and Justin made together is slowly, but surely growing in there.
You practically shot up as you heard Justin walk through the door and kick off his shoes.
"Baby!" He smiled widely as he caught sight of you, walking over to you and wrapping his arms around your body.
"Hey, how was your day?" You smiled up at him, not being able to keep the happiness from showing up on your face.
"It was okay, I just had a lot of interviews to do, that's all." He shrugged, sitting down on the couch. "How was yours? You okay?" He smiled up at you.
"Yeah, it was okay." You bit down on your lip in attempt to keep the smile off your face, knowing that today wasn't any normal day for you. "But, I have something I wanna tell you."
Sitting down next to him, you leaned back against the couch. "Alright." He seemed weary and slightly confused at your behaviour.
"Uh," You didn't know how to tell him, so you decided to come right out with it. "I, I'm pregnant." You spoke clearly, a small smile appearing on your face.
You saw his face dropped suddenly, and his body stopped moving. "W-What?" He stuttered.
Already, this situation was not going how you planned. "I'm pregnant, isn't that great? That's a good thing, right?" You frowned, worry and anger taking over your body.
"[Y/N], I can't have a kid yet! I'm going on tour in a few months and I'm at the most important part of my career! This can't happen, it can't." He stood up, breathing heavily and paced.
"Well too bad, Justin. You decided to stick your dick inside me so, you've gotta deal with the consequences." You spat at him slightly.
"I-I gotta go." He quickly grabbed his coat he slung on the back of the couch, heading for the door.
You didn't cry or shout, you just sighed. You knew, or hoped, he didn't mean it. It was probably just the shock, you knew he'd be back. And he was, almost three hours later.
"B-Baby?" Justin treaded carefully as he walked into the bedroom you shared.
"Hmm?" You hummed, staring ahead, giving him almost no attention.
"Can we talk?" He muttered, sitting on the edge of the bed, careful not to sit on your legs that rested under the covers.
"Well I've said all I needed to say. You, on the other hand, made your opinion very clear." Your tone was venomous as you turned to look at him.
"[Y/N], I was in shock, I didn't know what I was saying." He sighed, standing up. "And I went away and I thought about it and I was like "oh my god, I'm gonna be a father, it's happening" and I promise, my eyes watered." He chuckled down at you. "It made me realise that it's nothing to be scared about, I've always wanted this and now that it's with you, I want it even more." He stared down at you in adoration.
"You mean that?" You smiled up at him, leaning forward in your spot.
"Of course. I know, our situation is a little more difficult but we'll make it work." He sat down once again. "Oh, and to prove how ready I am for this I went out and bought a few things." He picked up a bag you hadn't even noticed he'd brought in.
"I got these cute ass shoes, and this little suit." He smiled widely, pulling out a tiny pair of pink shoes and a blue suit, making your eyes water. "I don't know if it's gonna be a boy or a girl so I didn't know what colour to get but then I thought "fuck gender roles, my kid can wear whatever they want, whatever they are" so I got these. Aren't they cute?" You stared at him in adoration as he talked with so much interest and passion.
"I can't believe we're going to have a baby." You let out a deep breath with content.
Justin sat down next to you, his hands starting to rub your stomach and as his head came close to it. "Hi, baby. You're probably a tiny little thing right now, but I'm you're daddy. We can't wait to see you." He pressed a warm kiss on your stomach, making you smile as your heart exploded.
