"This is more difficult than I thought." I mumbled and turned, letting my head hit the pillow. The bright computer screen stared at me with a smirk that I couldn't seem to get over with. Everything reminded me of him. This is so annoying.

I returned from my shift at three but couldn't catch a wink of sleep. I was so consumed with his thoughts. On the way back I kept checking if he was following me, to make sure I reach home safe. I couldn't find him and that got me sad.

I shouldn't be so affected by him. What if he is just looking for a rebound? What if he is using me?

The sensible side in my interjected, that is called harmless flirting and other than that he is just looking for a friend. Don't mess this up. You already are poor in friends department.

My phone buzzed making the creases on my forehead deepen. I glanced at the wall clock as it chimed faintly.
