The routine is pretty simple once you get past the gory details (read: "murder").
You're given a name, and then your brother briefs you on who that name is, and where he is (this part varies on whether or not it's a long term mission or just a quick kill). So you suit up, and go to where this person is, and do what must be done. Sometimes you get interference, the cops, or maybe a vigilante or two, depending on how much noise you make.
The most definite part of the job, is after.
You go home, if you can call it that, where you are greeted with a rushed shove into a cold chair, reminiscent of an electric chair (feels the same and all), and your memories wiped. After the blinding pain subsides to a point where you are somewhat conscious of your surroundings, you are given a heavy critique about your performance- which you now know nothing about, however this is deliberate because if they had done this before, you would not have remembered.
Sometimes, if the job is deemed less traumatic, you keep the memory, maybe long enough for it to become long term (however they fail to realize that "traumatic" is different for everyone, and you, a child, have less tolerance for the gruesome, unlike them)
Oh well, you are young, and your brain is easily molded into what they desire, so you get over it in your own way, you have no choice (at this point in time, you are unfamiliar with the word "child soldier" even more so with the fact that you are one).
The brain molding would be easier if you were kept in for a couple more years though. It gets harder once one of the vigilantes realize who you are, and make it their mission to get you out.
It gets harder when these vigilantes start to make sense, and the thin stringy lies those around you have told you start to unravel.
It gets harder when you start to remember a time before you became this machine, even harder when you think you remember a time when the vigilantes weren't the ones after you, but rather the ones helping you.
It's worse when you realize the truth.
