I slowly and dramatically make my up the staircase. I've almost cornered Henry's killer in the library. Unless he jumps over the railing, he's not going anywhere. He quivers every time my foot reaches another step. His efforts to shoot me remain unsuccessful with every bullet ricocheting off of my cold, titanium structured body. I reach the top of the stairs and continue to remain silent while also getting closer and closer to Sebastian. With every step I take forward, he takes 3 steps backwards. Eventually he'll run out of space to go and revenge will finally be mine.
"Sinister, please," he stammers on. "Don't do this!"
I remain silent and emotionless. I've now cornered him up to the wall. I start to drop the titanium build and revert back to my regular self. Once the process was completed almost instantly he falls to his knees, screaming in agonizing pain. I've never channeled an infliction harder than the one I'm doing right now. I was too angry, to upset, to even care how much pain I was putting him in. His screams continue. I drop the illusion and watch him hopelessly catch his breath. As he looks up at me I raise up my left hand and wiggle my fingers a bit, blue sparks soaring between each of my fingers back and forth, indicting my electricity was at it's peak due to my intense anger I had towards this man in front of me. I forcibly grab the side of his neck and listen to the profound sizzle that is only getting louder and louder with every second my hand remains there. His eyes are widening, his entire body is shaking.
"This is for my family," I whisper in his ear.
I slowly and hesitantly remove my hand from his neck. I push up on his chin so that we are now making direct eye contact with one another. His eyes are filled with great despair and deep sadness. I place my right hand gently on his cheek. Within seconds his face had turned to stone, continuing on down his neck until his entire body was now nothing but stone. I move my hand away from his cold cheek and stood up straight. A single tear falls down my cheek. My next move, without hesitation, I punch the stone figure as hard as I can, shattering it into a million pieces. I turn around and head back down the stairs to scan the perimeter and see if any of my other siblings needed my assistance. I didn't give another thought to what I had just done.
