*POV Change*
When class was over, I headed outside for lunch. I caught up with Alya and the rest of my friends.
" Hey girls what's up?" I asked.
" Not much. We were just discussing something we heard" Alya responded.
" What did y'all hear??" I asked curiously.
" Well, we heard that Luka got akumatized yesterday. Something about him crushing on some girl who broke his heart."
I felt myself panick. "uhh... oh.. really? wow." I said kinda nervous.
"Yeah. poor guy. He seems really sweet." Rose said
"Yeah poor Luka" Juleka commented
I couldn't handle it. I just felt soooo bad over what I had done. I felt so much guilt that I couldn't hold it in much longer. And then all of the sudden...
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to!!! I didn't know he felt that way or that this would happen if I said yes to a different guy. I was just following what my heart told me to do okay!?!" I yelled out.
"Woah! Chill Marinette what are you telling about??" Alex asked confused.
"It just... Luka told me that I was the girl he liked, but I had already decided to go to prom with Adrien because he asked me first, but what really hurt him was the fact that my heart belongs to Adrien." I said kinda down.
"Did you explain that to him?" Alya asked.
"Yes" I replied.
"And was he okay with it after you explained to him?"
"Yes" I answered.
Alya laughed, "Girl, then what are you freaking out for? I love you and all, but sometimes you make no sense. If he's okay now, then you don't need to feel guilty. You told him the truth and that's all that matters. So what are you freaking out for??"
" I-It's just...when you guys were talking about it, it made me feel so guilty." I said kinda embarrassed.
" We're sorry Mari, we didn't know it was you all along. And we definitely didn't know that you guys were okay afterwards. If we had known, we wouldn't have made you feel that way." Alya responded and gave me a hug.
"Sorry Marinette," Rose said
"Yeah, we're sorry." Juleka commented.
They all hugged me.
"Thanks girls, I feel so much better."
