Chapter 3

Marnette

I cried on his shoulder and I couldn't stop, but I held back my tears so I could face him. I let go of him and he let go of me, but kept his hands on my waist. I lifted my right wrist to show him, "You?" He lifted his and smiled as they lit a reddish color. We leaned in and......a camera flashed. I turned my head and smiled, of course my head was turned away from the cameras. 

I put my hands on top of his to take them away, but they wouldn't move. He held them tighter then moved his hand into mine and we ran away. We ran to an alley panting for breath, "Where are we going?" I panted, "Anywhere away from there." He panted back. 

I say a library near by and hearing they paparazzi I rolled my eyes and pulled him to the library. We went in and went to the back. I saw a black couch and after dragging Adrien in here I flopped on that couch. I took off my shoes, I can't run in boots and when I do my feet ache. 

Adrien moved my feet and flopped down next to me, taking my feet Adrien started rubbing them. "So, my father is hoisting a Halloween party in a couple of weeks, would you be my date?" I looked at him, moved my feet off the couch and moved closer to him. I put my head on his chest and he put his arm around me. 

I felt so tired, but I stayed awake to talk to him. Adrien looked down at me and I looked up at him, "What?" I smiled and he smiled back, "Nothing, it's just......it's just you're so beautiful and I'm so happy that you are my mate." I snuggled into him even more and he held me closer to him. I put my arm around his torso and pulled myself towards him. 

I looked outside and it was getting dark. "Adrien, I think we should go home." I looked up at him, "Okay, I'll take you home." He got up, I picked up my shoes to put them on, but Adrien picked her up bridle style to the car he had called. "Adrien, you know that I can walk right?"

He chuckled "Yes, Princess, I know but you seem so tired." I looked at him and sighed, "You're not wrong." He put me in the car then got in himself. Once at my new house, he cared me into the house, up the stairs and to my bedroom. He laid me on the bed and got me a pair of Pjs, "Thank you, Adrien." I gave him a hug and kissed him on the cheek.

He walked out of my room and I watched him leave my house. I got on my Pjs and ran to Tikki's room. "Tikki,  my mate is Adrien!" I yelled coming into her room. "My mate's name is Plagg and he is so cute." She giggled. We stayed up till midnight talking about our mates and we went to bed. It is our first day at school after coming home from China.

I missed my friends but I'll tell you who I didn't miss, Chloe. Chloe bullied everyone and there was only one person that she wouldn't bully, Adrien. I will tell you this though. There is an exception for her, she could hurt Adrien's feelings but never would she bully him.

I have stood up for myself, Tikki, and many other kids from bullies over the last ten years so I will stand up to Chloe if she gets out of line tomorrow. Tomorrow, I know Chloe will do something to try and hurt me or bully me, but now that I have Adrien I don't need to fear her, I have him and I don't need anyone to protect me from her, I just need him to back me up and catch me when I fall literally and metaphorically.
