Once you happily ran out of the room Lucifer goes over to his makeup table to get ready only to find his face was.....already painted. He growled softly as he looked at himself in the mirror and took a deep breath and yelled "(Y/N) YOUR SO GROUNDED!"
You heard him all the way from the main tent and you were laughing your small butt off . Painted doll then comes over to you and takes your hand as she takes you over to the make up area , you sit down on the wooden stool and Painted doll begins to painting your face to look like a puppet . After she finished you looked yourself over in the mirror and smiled " PERFECT!" You shouted happily . Next she then took you to a different tent where you would be preforming for the first time , it was dark inside and was only lit by an ominous red light . You slowly walked inside and stood in the middle of the ring and got into a pose. You stood still in your pose as you waited for the unlucky person to walk inside .
20 minutes later a young boy around the age of 16 with black hair and pale skin walked in, confused and lost . You watched from your spot as he curiously walked in and spotted you. He slowly and cautiously approaches you and gently touches your soft cheek. Thats when you put your act into play as you first pretended to be a lost and afraid little girl then once you got him to feel bad for you the real fun began . You mentally messed with him by showing him everything he truly feared.He ended up running away crying in fear, you on the other hand was giggling at him. Once your act was over you made your way over to entrance of the tent and followed the Ticket keeper back to your fathers chamber. He opens the door for you and you walk in only to feel a sense of dread run through your small body , you see you daddy giving you his "your in trouble" look and your smile drops slowly . Everything was awkwardly silent for a few moment before your dad gestures for you to sit in-front of him, you sit down cross legged in-front of his throne and shyly look down"s-something wrong father?" You ask him "care to explain why my face had sparkles and makeup on it this morning?" He asks you . You sheepishly smile and try to contain your giggles as you remember your little master piece you did this morning " w-well you were still sleepy so I helped you put your face paint on" you tell him with a innocent smile . He hums a little and keeps his eyes on you "hmmm I see, I appreciate you helping but I assure you I can do my own makeup" he tells you . Lucifer then reaches to his side table and picks up his ESOP Fables book " now...how would like to hear a story?" He then asks , you smile and happily nod your head . Lucifer chuckles and turns the pages of the book until he reaches a story called " The lost Puppet" and begins to read to you:
Lucifer: Ah here we are, this ones called The Lost Puppet . There once was a puppet who lived happy and free , she had everything she could ever need. She had friends of plenty and a father who loved her . But little did she knew that this happiness wouldn't last forever. One day while she was out playing a man approached her and tried to take her , she begged and pleaded for him to leave her alone but the man refused and took her anyways . The man took her somewhere that was very strange to her , the place she been brought to had marble floors and pillars and gilded gates . But what really frightened her was the looks on the peoples face, overly stretched smiles on porcelain faces send chills up her spine .The man let go of her and told her that this was her new home and that she was to work for his master from now on , but stubbornly she refused and tried to get away . The man grabbed her and scolded her , telling her that if she was ever to escape he'd break her . The puppet had no choice but to do as the man said and hope that she'd be rescued from her captors . To her luck her father came to save her as he destroy her captor and took her back home with him. After all that the puppet learned to never let anyone get a hold of her ever again .
Lucifer finished the story and closes his book .......(to be continued)
