Small but dangerous (Lucifer x reader _ the devils carnival)

The plan?

After finishing the storey the Ticket keeper knocked on the door and walked in " sorry for interrupting storey time but I uh....suggest we go throw the plan again before we put it in action" he says , Lucifer looks over at him and stands up "ah yes, the plan. (Y/n) my child why don't you go outside and play while I and the ticket keeper discuss some important things" he suggests to you "okay daddy" you reply happily. You get up off the floor and left your father to his work .

Once you had left Lucifer let out a small chuckle as he went over to a table that had a map laid out on it "she's quite a spirited little child isn't she" The ticket keeper says "indeed, she'll do well here when she gets older" Lucifer replies . They both examine the map as they try to plot out their plan " she handled her first performance well today, I wouldn't be surprised if she inherited your talents " Tickets says , Lucifer sighs " I just hope thats the only thing she inherited from me" Lucifer tells him "what..do you mean? Are you saying that she might of inherited other things from you?" Tickets asks . Lucifer sighs once more and looks up from the map " she is young, we haven't seen what she's capable of yet. She's never truly felt sadness or anger. I have no clue if she's gained my abilities yet" he explains "that is true, she is unformed still but....what will happen if she was to get captured by the other side? They could destroy the person that she is, turn her against us" Tickets says . Lucifer clenches his fist and glares " they better not, not if they value their lives. I won't let my little girl get turned into...one of those GILDED JERKS  up there. I promised her mother before she had passed away that I'd protect our child with my life and I expect to keep that promise" he says " and thats where this plan comes into plan play?" Tickets asks curiously "yes, in a few days my little one will be turning seven , marking anything mile stone for her . And if my guess are right something bad will be happening soon, something involving her . After my last meeting with the Agent , he had threatened that if I didn't hand her to him he'd take her by force" Lucifer tells Tickets "but..that was 6 years ago , (y/n) was only a year old back then . He wouldn't of just taken a year old baby away from her father like that" Tickets says "exactly, thats why he didn't put up much of fight back then but now she's is turning seven theres a chance of him coming back for her . Which is why we need to take precaution and keep our guard up " Lucifer tells him "I see...so where do we begin?" Tickets asks.

    While your father and Tickets went over the plan you were happily skipping through the carnival in the hopes of finding the sweets cart , you skipped past the marry go round and past Ferris's wheel when you suddenly bumped into Scorpion "hey hey there little sis where you going in a hurry?" He asks you "I can't find the sweets cart, I was hoping to get some cotton candy" you tell him . Scorpion gives you a kind genuine smile and bends down to you" Cotton candy huh? I think I saw it by the fortune teller machine a minute go . Want me take you there?" He asks you , you nod your head and he smiles as he stands up straight again and gently takes your hand "come on, lets get you some cotton candy" he says and begin to lead you to sweet cart. You both walk through the carnival together and you see the sweet cart up ahead "ah here it is" Scorpion says , you both walk up to the old frail man who was managing the cart and Scorpion asks for cones of cotton candy . The old man makes two cotton candies and and hands them to him, Scorpion hands you one of them , you both eat your cotton candy together until Scorpion hears someone whistle to him. He look towards the noice and see's a group of three females giving him flirty looks , he smirks and then looks down at you" well looks like I gotta answer the call, stay safe okay" he says to you with a wink. You giggle a little and nod as you watch him rush over to them.

    You were now all alone again which you didn't mind, you were use to wandering the carnival alone. You continued to eat your cotton candy as you walked through the carnival and observed everything around you. Letting out a small sigh as you decided to take a seat on a old wooden bench close by and just take in your surroundings, the intoxicating sound of carnival music and screams was bliss to you for some reason . But to new comers it was headache inducing and usually caused people who weren't use to it to go insane ......(to be continued)
