My opinions on ships

This is a ship that I have seem some pretty differing opinions on, ranging from "oml OTP!" to "Ew no" to "ships like this is why i ship *insert ship like Oumasai or Temiko*". My stance is that, despite how brutal I am on ships, I actually kinda ship it. Now hear me out before citing me to the nsfw of them. Yes it's very weird, mostly due to them being small, but that shouldn't really be much of a reason to say a ship is bad, cuz I've seen people actually use this reason to justify their dislike for said ship. Here is why I ship it, and some reasons why I don't afterwards. Firstly, Kokichi wasn't a s brutal to her as he was to people like Miu, normally opting for more playful teasing to some jabs thrown in here and there. On the contrary though, she didn't seem to really like him that much, and even if she did have some sort of feelings, they were mostly just her talking back to him as if they were kids, which leads to my next point. Ignoring the shit he has done, it really just seems like two childish people bickering and being petty towards one another, as you would normally see kids do, which in itself doesn't exactly make it too toxic as compared to Kokichi's other ships. My main reason though for shipping is that evem if unintentional, he helped her become a better person, and this isn't shown any better than Trial 3 where Himiko is on her "I miss them!" phase of the trial and he literally calls her out on her bs, which, inadvertently or not, led her to just let everything out. And even though others treated it as him being too harsh, few can deny it had an impact on what kind of person she would become. Also the scene in trial 5 with Kaito saying a written by Kokichi himself that he "liked her", which even made her blush a bit. Overall, 7-8/10, depends on how much headcanon i use if i like it higher in the range or lower
