Afraid For Eternity

Peace and Quiet

Light began to stream through the white curtains of my room. I blinked a few times, turning to the alarm clock on the bedside to see that it read 7:23am. Getting out of my warm bed and walked to the bathroom and quickly jumped in. Making sure i washed my body and hair with my favorite scented shampoo and soap,vanilla, i got out and began to get dressed. Once done with everything i needed to do, i start walking towards Blake's room. I slowly open the door and smiled at the scene in front of me.

In bed laying on her stomach, was Blake with a bunch of boxs and clothes scattered around the room showing that we justed moved in. I walked over to her and smoothed out her hair, i still can't believe how far we came.

~Flashback~

The breeze was blowing just right threw the window of the old cottage that Katherina lived in. She stood up from her place at the table and walked towards the door, opening it she saw childern and families gathering around, speaking with one another. She looked around the village when suddenly she heard her name being yelled at and turn to see the commotion. There in front of her was Niklaus, the most handsome and sweetest man she ever met, who also happened to be her suitor. "Well hello Niklaus, what do i owe the pleasure of seeing you?" Katherina said as she smiled up at Niklaus. Niklaus smiled then gently reached out and hugged her. "Oh nothing, i just wanted to see you thats all my lady", he said as her looked her in the eye. She smiled until she felt herself being taken somewhere. She knew what this feeling was as she stayed calm, a premonition.
She looked around and saw that she was at the field that many other such as her were sent to, to practice their gifts. She the heard chanting and turned only to see the counsel. She was confused as to why would they be there in the middle of the night , chanting. That was until she saw a baby being put down on the alter of the field, before she can get any words out,a knife was quickly brought out and  down as it almost striked the baby.

Katherina gasped as she was brought back to the present, she looked around and saw that she was still in Niklaus's arms but he was staring at her worried. Katherina quickly smiled at him to calm him,he smiled back at her and held her hand while dragging her to her cottage. As his back was turned to her, she began coming up with a plan, she knew she couldn't let that child die. No child should ever be put in situations such as the one she saw. She finally made up her mind, she was gonna save that baby.

~Flashback over~

I smiled but it quickly turned to a frown when i remembered him. It still hurt to this day, i still cant believe i left him but i had to or the coven would have killed both me and Blake. Blake started to shift so i left so she can rest a little bit more. I walked down the stairs into the kitchen to began preparing food for us. After making some coffee, i began puting the eggs, bacon and french toast i cooked on a plate.

I looked out of the window that showed the beautiful backyard. I smiled then opened the window, taking a deep breath i slowly breathed out, finally, Some Peace And Quite
