Namjoon's POV
Nothing is moving. I don't even feel alive, what is this feeling? Shock? Heartbreak? I don't know what the fuck to do-ness?
He isn't popping up, how far did he get dragged in? God dammit I hate water.
Just get in the fucking water you pussy!
Right, water, drowning boy, go!
Once again it feels like everything moves in slow motion. My feet scrape against the sand, pushing it away as my feet get wet once more as I hit the water. Dollops of the salty ocean splash against my shorts, riding up to my shirt. I plunge into the water, feeling goosebumps trickle up my spine and down my skin as the water gets colder the deeper I swim.
Come on, come on where is he? This water is clear I should be able to see him! I flip my head every which way, as fast as it can go under this thick water. I spot something floating down at the side of my eye. I turn my body to see Soobin floating up and down on the seabed. I swim back up to grab a breath of air before diving back down.
Faster and faster, my heartbeat gets, as well as my swimming pace. I get closer to him and see his leg bleeding and eyes closed. I reach out and grab his arm, pulling him up with me. The water breaks like ice, slowly and sharply as I gulp in as much air as possible. Grabbing his shirt, I pull Soobin's head above water.
"Hang on Soobin." I heave out, wrapping my tail around his waist, holding him against me as I use my arms to swim towards shore. Another wave comes, but thankfully pushes us faster towards the shore. I get onto my unsteady legs and drag his limp body out of the water and across the sand. I collapse beside him onto my knees and hold his face.
"Soobin, come on wake up." I breath heavily, lightly tapping his face. I shake him more and no response. I lean down and hear his fading heartbeat. I start compressions on his chest, my heart beating extremely fast. I've never been in a situation like this, I hope this is right.
"Don't die on me kid, don't die." I growl, pounding my hands onto his chest. I plug his nose and attach my lips to his, hopefully giving him life again. I repeat these move until he finally rolls over and coughs out some water. He lays back on his back, his eyes closed and his chest slowly moving by itself.
"S-soobin?" I ask, leaning towards him. "Are you alive? I mean of course your alive, right? You're breathing but-" I'm cut off by his hands cupping my face and pulling me down. His lips find mine again, shutting me up. I sit back up after he let's go, his eyes opening slowly.
"Dude, I told you, I couldn't swim." He chuckles, looking at the sky.
"Jesus." I let out a breathy laugh, hanging my head towards the sand. "You scared the shit out of me." I laugh.
"You were scared!? I almost drowned!" He coughs, sitting up.
"Well sorry, I just wanted to play." I pout, looking at him. I follow his worried gaze and look at his leg, remembering that it was bleeding.
"Is that from getting stuck?" I frown.
"Yeah, I tripped when you pushed me and my foot got caught between a few jagged rocks. When the wave came, it ripped me out of them." He grits his teeth together as he tries moving his leg.
"Man, you're just a ball of trouble around us aren't you?" I smirk, standing up.
"Don't test that theory." He points a finger at me.
"I'm not going to, don't worry." I roll my eyes, picking him up bridal.
"Uh where are we going?" He frowns.
