do you remember the entrancing night?
we went for stargazing,
you held my hand, flashed me a smile,
it was surreal to be happening.
we walked across the wilderness,
sweeping off the branches gradually,
there were faint cicada sounds,
and absolutely no time to hurry.
you chuckled when we got out,
you brushed the twigs out of my hair,
we passed the stretches of irises,
with no trace of despair.
i heard the angry rumbling of waterfall,
a couple of walks away,
the moon's silver shimmering bright,
the dandelions were at play.
you came to still, looked at me,
pointed at the sky, far to far,
i shifted my gaze, good heavens !
i witness a muslin cloth adorned with stars.
i remember the twinkling iridescence,
i remember the breathtaking view,
you were looking at the gazillion stars,
while i was looking at you.
