Viola, Jordan and Amy were all gathered around the fire pit after dinner and a long day of playing water polo. Amy had convinced everyone to play a game of pictionary which was going terribly for her because Chris was absolutely terrible at drawing.
"What is it a balloon animal?" Amy asked, aggrevated.
"No, it's a linear diagram of a glucose molecule," Chris replied as if that were something everyone knew.
"It looks like a Pokemon," Jordan shrugged.
"It does not! I've never even seen an episode of Pokemon," Chris defended.
"Yea yea okay sure," Jordan chuckled looking down at his ringing phone.
His smile turned to grimace and he let out a deep sigh. "It's Michael," he said advertising the photo on the caller ID.
"You should answer," Chris sighed putting the marker down and walking into the house.
"I'll make sure he's okay," Amy replied following him.
"Okay fine," Jordan scoffed swiping the icon to accept the call. "You have some nerve you know that? Oh you didn't think he'd leave? You embarrassed him and took advantage of him, that's dickish even for YOU. He's fine, he's with me and ignoring you as he should. I should kick your ass. Yea whatever see you in school asshole."
"That sounds like it went well," Viola chuckled, hoping to lighten the mood.
"He's seeking forgiveness. Fuck that I'm not the one he should be talking to and I'm not letting him near Chris again."
"You're such a dad," Viola sighed straddling his lap. "If Chris does forgive him then what?"
"Forgive him- like that's gonna happen."
"Jordan, it's not good harbouring hate. Michael is a dick but you can't encourage Chris to hate him, that's not fair. You have to let him control how he chooses to heal from the experience."
"I guess," Jordan pouted.
"Not you guess- you have to. You can't shield him from his own emotions," she smiled giving him a peck.
"You know, for a stuck up prude you give great advice," Jordan teased.
"My listeners sure think so," she giggled kissing him.
"Alright lovebirds break it up. We're going out," Amy proclaimed standing on the threshold of the house.
"Going out where?"
"My friend opened a new nightclub and I think it'll be a great way to cheer Chris up. He's already pumped."
"I don't have anything for clubbing," Viola argued.
"Not a problem I'll get you something of mine." Amy shrugged.
"Well, go on," Jordan urged her.
Viola wasn't exactly worried, Amy had excellent fashion taste. But she was also built differently which could pose a problem.
"I always get clothes from the shows I cover but sometimes they don't exactly fit me that well so I end up never wearing them. This should be you," Amy smiled holding up an extravagant black mini dress. "It's Balmain."
"It's gorgeous... A bit too gorgeous," Viola gaped admiring the sheer bedazzled neckline.
"Then it's great for you. Come see me when you put it on," Amy commanded.
